Our 2023/24 impact report highlights some key information about the difference our mobile cancer care units make in bringing cancer care closer to patients in their communities. Our latest patient survey found that on average, patients and their friends and families saved 17.4 miles per visit, when travelling to one of our mobile units to receive their cancer care. This saves them time, anxiety and money when receiving treatment. Psalm 82:3-4 "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked" Join me in supporting Sean in his battle against Brain Cancer (Reoccurring Medulloblastoma). This rare cancer type, typically affecting children, presents unique challenges for adults like Sean. Despite the uncertainty of its treatment plan, Sean is making positive strides as the tumors shrink. However, this journey is expected to last at least a year, if not two. Sean's treatment regimen involves daily oral chemotherapy, weekly Intrathecal injections, and bi-monthly Intravenous chemo. Your donation, big or small, can significantly aid Sean on his path to recovery. Consider sharing Sean's story on social media to amplify support for his fight against Brain Cancer. Let's unite to stand by Sean during this challenging time. #helpingsean #seanzahul To contribute and discover more about Sean's journey, visit: https://lnkd.in/egYtfBV7

FACT CHECK: Did you know? Every year, an estimated 450,000 children and young adults are diagnosed with cancer—that’s almost 1 child every minute. Tragically, 2 out of 3 children will not survive. Cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease for children and young adults. This is why I’m passionate about supporting childhood cancer research—I want every child to have the chance to reach their full potential. Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute (cc-TDI) is dedicated to changing this, especially for rare childhood cancers, where survival rates have barely improved in decades. Will you join me in supporting critical research to develop better treatment options for our kids? September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month, during this month, every dollar you donate will be matched—up to $35,000—thanks to cc-TDI’s Board. Together, we can create a future where every child not only survives but thrives. Join the mission to make childhood cancer universally survivable and donate today: https://lnkd.in/grbFrTcT #GivingBackChildhood #ChildhoodCancerAwareness #ccTDI #CancerResearch #LetsDoBetter
For far too long, breakthroughs in childhood cancer research have stalled in the preclinical gap. This gap—where discoveries fail to make it to clinical trials—has been especially devastating for rare childhood cancers, with survival rates that have barely improved in decades. Help us change the paradigm, as we strive to push our research toward life-saving results. This September, thanks to generosity from cc-TDI's Board, every dollar you give will be matched, up to $35,000! Let’s fight together for a future where every child has the chance to survive and thrive. 💛 Donate today and be part of the cure! https://lnkd.in/gMxTSeUU #givingbackchildhood #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth #ShareYourWhy #cctdi #childhoodcancerawareness #cancerresearch

As October paints the world pink, we are reminded of the strength and resilience of those affected by breast cancer. This cause hits close to home – we all know or have met a survivor, and there are numerous lessons we have learnt from their unique journeys. For me, I have learnt the power of early detection and unwavering support from loved ones and the society. To all warriors, survivors, and those we've lost: your courage inspires us daily. 💕 This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, let's take action: 1. Schedule your mammogram – early detection is a life saver. 2. Support a friend going through treatment – sometimes just being there makes all the difference. 3. Educate yourself and others about risk factors and symptoms. 4. Donate to research if you can – every contribution counts. Remember, self-care isn't selfish. Take time for yourself, practice self-exams, and listen to your body, go on that doctor's appointment you've put off for a while. Together, we can make a difference. Let's spread hope, raise awareness, and support each other. #BreastCancerAwareness #PinkTober #SupportTheFight #selfcare #SynergicSustainability

🎗️As we close out this month, the fight against childhood cancer remains ongoing. It’s crucial to keep the momentum alive, carrying forward the lessons learned over the past 30 days, and driving meaningful, transformative changes in pediatric oncology. 🎗️Awareness is just the beginning. Now, we must translate it into action—action that increases funding for pediatric cancer research to discover more effective, less invasive treatments; action that ensures survivors get the long-term care they need to navigate their journey; and action that builds strong support systems addressing not only the physical but also the emotional and psychosocial needs of children and their families. 🎗️Let’s continue advocating, donating, and offering compassionate support. Most importantly, let’s make sure no child faces cancer alone. #paediatriconcology #oncodaily #ASCO #childhoodcancerinternational #unicef
