🤖 For the past two years, I have witnessed a dramatic shift in the belief that humanity would never reach the heights of Generative AI. Are we there yet? Well, NO. Will we be there in 5 years? Maybe. The current approach involves scaling existing models, which might not be the ultimate solution, but it’s the best we have so far. Multibillion-dollar corporations are racing to be the first to succeed because the widespread belief now is that whoever gets there first will benefit the most. 🌟This is why Microsoft is signing a deal to revive a nuclear power plant to feed the largest data center ever, with a projected power consumption of 835 Megawatts. Mark my words, Microsoft’s competitors are already exploring the options of building Gigawatt data centers. But what else do these mammoth data centers need besides power? Well Connectivity to the data center and between computing clusters. In other words, they need Network IT engineers—they need YOU! Do you know the difference between supporting and engineering the network for a standard enterprise data center and an AI data center? Is there a difference? Have you ever been responsible for the design or support of an enterprise customer data center or AI optimized Data Centers? 🧠 Are you ready to upskill? 🚀We are already doing this. I dare you to challenge yourself. Apply for our open roles and enter the Network world of tomorrow with DXC Technology Bulgaria!

Senior Field Engineer for The Computer Dudes' Inc. thecomputerdudesinc.com We serve 6 Southern States and the World.
How can we as individuals and our companies let Broadcom know how much damage they have done with the takeover of VMware? How can we do that as a group? Hundreds of thousands of hours of work down the drain for many companies and now they are seeking VMware replacements due to lack of confidence in VMware now that is is owned by Broadcom - and also because of the botched take over? It is not very politically correct or professional but the best I can come up with is: "Broadcom you suck!!" I am sure some of you could be far more eloquent in expressing your thoughts. Please do, in the comments below. Regards Todd W. Today marks an end to my “short” Cisco “Cleared Space” Management Services saga. It has been a great ride. Today, my future aspirations and focuses are more security related as I semi-retire my granular route/switch mindset. I learned a lot about “behind-the-scenes” handling of high-profile customer accounts, addressing their concerns, problems and needs. I learned sometimes the smartest person in the room is you *jaw-drop* and it’s your job to speak up. I was able to provide great CX, feedback, recommendations, solutions and teach a bunch of people along the way. Thanks for the experience, the evolution and the flexible schedule Cisco! To everyone still at Cisco, continue to provide great customer service and put the client first as always. Without clients to advise and support- we are nothing. Also remember… sometimes you really are the smartest person in the room… so speak up.
