Bertha Benz's journey symbolized mobility, freedom and breaking new ground, literally paving the way for the future. In contrast, "Big Bertha" represented the darker side of human ingenuity, where technological advances are used for conflict.

Last Sunday, I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in the electrifying atmosphere of the Geneva Car Show. As I wandered through the sprawling exhibition halls, surrounded by sleek designs and groundbreaking technology, I couldn't help but feel inspired by the innovation and creativity on display.
One of the most striking aspects of the show was the emphasis on sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives. Manufacturers are clearly making strides towards a greener future. Witnessing the unveiling of these environmentally conscious vehicles underscored the industry's commitment to reducing carbon emissions and combating climate change.
Furthermore, the integration of advanced technology was truly awe-inspiring. From autonomous driving features to augmented reality dashboards, it's evident that the automotive sector is embracing the digital revolution with open arms. These innovations not only enhance the driving experience but also pave the way for safer roads and more efficient transportation systems.

Gyroscopic transport technology could revolutionize urban mobility for the following reasons:

The concept of gyroscopic transport was proposed by the engineering company Dahir Insaat. It was developed by Russian engineer and inventor Dakhir Semenov.

The concept of gyroscopic transport capable of moving above cars was proposed by the engineering company Dahir Insaat. According to the developer's idea, the vehicle is mounted on a pair of gyroscopic columns with wheels. The columns can extend, allowing the vehicle’s cabin to rise above the road while the wheels pass smoothly between lanes.
The conceptual vehicles are equipped with several generators powered by solar panels. These generators keep the gyroscopic system operational and prevent the vehicle from tipping over.
The developer believes that the emergence of this type of public transport could significantly reduce the number of private cars. Emergency services, such as ambulances and fire trucks, could also benefit from its use.

On Thursday 27/06 we had a meeting for the ongoing "BEVolution" of the project. We got the possibility to meet our collegues from University Niccolò Cusano for defining the short- and long-term steps.
The revolution of BEVs development has officially started!
On the one side, the Energy Model was scrambling to get the detailed data to be calibrated with, highlighting high potential in estimating the vehicle performance throughtout different missions while shortening the computational time and reducing costs!
On the other side, the detailed Digital Twin was asking an urgent change in the paradigm of vehicle development, underling the terrifying impact of the external conditions on the main Key Performance Parameters, i.e. efficiency of the powertrain and drivability range!
Up to 25 % of range decrease can be faced under severe weather conditions, and logistic operators need a mandatory increase in efficiency for changing their traditional light-duty commercial vehicles into a more sustainable fleet!
The BEVolution than starts from the issue of optimizing the design of BEVs, in terms of powertrain and auxiliary technologies, as for instance the air conditioning, while co-optimizing the control logics.
The interconnectivity between the Detailed and Energy models in a closed loop is then the core of the novel approach, enphasizing the call for multi-purpose modeling.
