Help your future self out. LinkedIn is amazing for connecting. It's great for selling, learning about new products, quick highlights from the day, industry knowledge, recruiting, giving updates on what's going on in your professional world, sharing company features, & oftentimes getting into a fiery debate. How many times have you wanted to reach out to your connections & thought to yourself, "How do I know so and so?". Could be a conference, you interviewed them, they interviewed you, tried to sell to them in a previous life, networking event, maybe even a date?! Do future you a favor: When you connect w/ someone, put SOMETHING in the note. SOMETHING that will help you in the future CONTEXTUALIZE how you met them/what you wanted from them/what they wanted from you at the time you connected. They will also have the context, so in the event you'd like to reach out in the future, there's a: Frame 👏 Of 👏 Reference 👏
