The unique challenges that service members, past and present, and their families face — from spouse un- and underemployment, to child care costs, student loans, and out-of-pocket living expenses — contribute to the complexities that lead to the inaccessibility of nutritious foods. Thanks to the NYC Department of Veterans' Services (DVS), HelloFresh meal kits are available at Fort Wadsworth for members of the Craig Newmark New York Tri-State Chapter. These meal kits help bridge the gap of food insecurities for our military families. The types of community partnerships are instrumental in helping military families thrive, no matter where the mission takes them. Everyone can do their part to support military families — are you wondering how you can Do Your Part? See this list of ways to show your support: https://bit.ly/3RLvmv7 #DoYourPart is made possible by the generous support of Craig Newmark and Craig Newmark Philanthropies.
