In 2026, the Airlander 10, dubbed the Flying Bum, will debut, marking the launch of the world's largest aircraft. With dimensions matching a football pitch and towering as high as six double-decker buses, it offers a unique travel experience to Spain's popular islands. With a capacity for 100 passengers, luxurious and eco-friendly journey, designed to reduce carbon emissions. Costing $50 million, the airship can land on any surface and requires no conventional infrastructure, making it ideal for short-haul flights from the UK to Spain. Originally developed for the U.S. military, it has been reassembled and redesigned for civilian use, with Air Nostrum Airline group ordering 20 of them to expand services in the Mediterranean, focusing on the Balearic islands.
