That said, our conversation really drove home the impact of the capital markets on our industry. Much of "Big Pharma" is undergoing significant reorgs and valuation metrics are down meaningfully YoY. Similarly, VC funding for emerging and virtual companies is "difficult" to say the least....funding availability, terms, cap table challenges, etc. ....left wondering if large pharma steps up to fill the liquidity / capital gap.
