Medical Science Liaisons sometimes face less than ideal responses from providers they are trying to connect with to gather insights. While this may be part of our job description, it can be tough to process negative responses. It's important to remember that everyone is different and not everyone is perfect in shrugging off certain responses. I personally handle it by reminding myself nothing is personal. The responses usually are not a reflection on you. Most of the time they hardly know you and only sees you as what and who you represent in their mind. How do you handle negative responses from your providers when requesting to connect?
