Welcome to the #P8 family, Republic of Korea Navy! The ROK Navy commemorated the delivery of six P-8A Poseidon aircraft today at a ceremony held at the Naval Air Command in Pohang. Korea joins eight global customers that have selected or already operate the P-8 and benefit from its unmatched, multi-mission maritime patrol capability. Watch the production journey.
Congratulations to the Republic of Korea Navy on this significant milestone! The addition of the P-8A Poseidon aircraft will undoubtedly enhance maritime surveillance and anti-submarine warfare capabilities. It's exciting to see the global community expanding its use of such advanced technology, fostering greater international maritime security and cooperation. Looking forward to seeing the positive impact these aircraft will have on regional stability and defense.
Congratulations, Boeing! Congratulations, Republic of Korea Navy! Advanced aeronautics with aerial technology for surveillance plus search and rescue--mind blowing integration! Boeing has always been my most respected aircraft company; my cousin was a USAF F-86 fighter pilot in the Korean War; and I served in the USAF Civil Air Patrol for search and rescue. I am entranced by the gracious South Korean people. I pray that these Poseidons will serve and protect them well.
