Alishba's on the Housing and Property Management apprenticeship. I caught up with her line manager Tanya: How does your apprentice contribute to the success and effectiveness of your team? With Alishba shadowing and learning all the roles across the Income team and beyond, she brings this learning back to my team and upskills them. Also having a trainee is a learning opportunity for me, as this is not a role I have line managed before. I need to think about and plan how I am going to help her achieve her qualification and ensure that she gets all the relevant experience she needs and wants. How are you developing your apprentice? Alishba & I are working together to create a training plan where she spends time shadowing and learning all the roles within the Income team, and then time in other departments across the organisation. We want a plan that compliments the modules of the qualification she is studying. Alishba also has a few mini-projects, so there is some opportunity of consistency and ownership. How are you integrating them into your team? Alishba attends my team meeting, even when shadowing another role so she knows what is happening within the team. This is also Alishba’s opportunity to update the team on what she has learnt and upskill the them. In the Income team as a whole, with Alishba shadowing all job roles, she has the opportunity to get to know the whole team and build relationships. #naw2024 #careersuccess #apprenticeships #vocationaltraining #socialhousing 🏠 📢 😊

#DegreeApprenticeships are the key to bridging the #talentgap in the Aviation sector In a recent conversation with The Economic Times, our Vice President and Business Head, Dhriti Prasanna Mahanta shed light on the exciting expansion of the #aviationsector and its future workforce By 2035, the aviation industry is set to create around 73,000 new jobs.
