I built a dashboard that provides an in-depth look at the length of cycle paths and safe streets in every Australian council. The project encompasses current, under-construction, and proposed projects, along with international benchmarks. There are some interesting examples of councils with more shared paths than you may expect, and the sobering reality of how Australian cities stack up to best practice European cities. All data (excluding population info) is generated from the OpenStreetMap dataset. https://lnkd.in/ggWA5RYc
