We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jack Harrell Jr., a cherished leader, mentor, and friend. Jack was known for his philanthropic spirit, faith, and dedication to our community. Alongside his wife Tina, Jack's generosity has touched countless lives and supported numerous causes throughout Lakeland. Jack's dedication to Bonnet Springs Park is truly remarkable. A strong belief in the mission led him and Tina to be among the founding donors and they have been part of our journey since the beginning. He was instrumental in our capital campaign, and his leadership as Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee has been invaluable. The generous contributions to name The Harrell Family Botanical Gardens, Harrell Family Greenhouse, and sponsorship of agronomic supplies all stand as a testament to his profound impact on our Park. We are forever grateful for Jack's contributions and the lasting mark he has left on our community. Our thoughts are with Tina, his family, and all those whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity. https://lnkd.in/g-achBwG
Creating a legacy for the next generation. What an example for all!
I was lucky enough to work for Harrell's many years ago and Mr. Harrell was one of the kindest and most down to Earth man/boss I've had the pleasure to know. This is a huge loss for our community. My heart goes out to his family and friends. 💔
