I like this article from Axios on DEI at JP Morgan Chase: https://lnkd.in/gNhvpV3Q The one point I would highlight is that CEO Dimon has been a DEI advocate for far longer than the last five or so years, when DEI programs started and then faced a subsequent backlash. As a result, Dimon has a much longer view of the benefits of DEI programs, and that's the point: it takes time to grow DEI programs and see their benefits. Be patient and persistent. We need to be together - in an inclusive sense - for the long-term. #leadership #diversity #dei

What a fun keynote on DEI in Succession Planning with the awesome team Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBI). Kudos to the leadership of Kania D. Lottie - JD, MBA, SHRM-SCP, SPHR to make diversity and inclusion a real priority in the financial industry! My takeaways... 1. Reverse mentoring is better said as mutual mentoring. It can be a bridge towards sponsorship longer term to build the pipeline of diverse talent. 2. High potential suggests that people are it or not. Careers have peaks and valleys. Maybe think about these folks as "next up" and ensure a diverse array of talent in the pipeline. 3. Marginalized may not be better than minority. Underrepresented still can have a negative connotation. Open to feedback here! #diversityandinclusion #leadership #allyship
