The Netherlands Inspection Service for Horticulture (Naktuinbouw) spent an article about F1-hybrid strawberries in their Dutch magazine 'Buitenstebinnen' (nr 22 - July 2024). Jaap Vromans (Manager R&D at Limgroup) and Gé Bentvelsen (ABZ) highlighted the benefits of the transition from clonal bred strawberry varities towards F1-hybrid varieties. Good to see that more and more companies pick up this development and that the Naktuinbouw facilitates this transition by setting up a system for healthy seeds, which result in great plants, beneficial for each player in the value chain! #transformation #strawberries #Limore
