Earlier this month, our Samuel Adams Pennsylvania Brewery Golf Committee hosted the 15th annual "Swinging for a Cure” Golf Tournament, raising more than $25,000 for The ALS Association Philadelphia Chapter. The event is inspired by the legacies of Steve Flintosh and Bill Barnhart, two Boston Beer coworkers who lost their battles with ALS. We honor them by fundraising for a cure. “This is as much a community effort as it is a brewery effort,” remarks Jess Ashby, member of the Samuel Adams Pennsylvania Brewery Golf Committee. “In addition to the 40 volunteers that planned and hosted, this year we had 28 sponsors - including the Sam Adams and Angry Orchard brand teams - that helped make this event a success.” Thank you to the sponsors and coworkers who came out for a great cause and a great time! 🏌️ Visit the ALS Association online to get involved: https://lnkd.in/e_Tc_twe
