At 8 months pregnant, I thought "now would be the best time to take myself and bump to my first Wiser Elite event" so I did, and it did not disappoint! the dream duo Lauren Langstaff-Roberts & Izzy Bishop put together the event, Make Moves: confident conversations & career progression, with a panel of 4 professionals who've done exactly that, and it made me reflect on something else, CELEBRATION! When I made my first placement back in 2020, Rob Paone and I hopped on Zoom to celebrate with a glass of Whiskey. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆; 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱." 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: "Man, it's really sweet to watch them improve. Achieving success in recruiting is one thing, and don't get me wrong, that's awesome to watch, but 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄? Every day, there was something (new), and every day, we had to adapt, adjust, and keep going. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲." Today is my 8th anniversary at Chartis and it's been a few years since I posted the welcome card I received from the great Daniel Herman on my first day. (I still keep it in my desk.) My grand plan was to stay at Chartis for 5 years because up until the point when I joined the firm, my longest tenure was three and a half years so I wanted to demonstrate some sticking power. Which thinking back on that now sort of makes me laugh since the average job tenure is down to under 2 years. But here on the big 8, I am feeling reflective...so let's be all consultant-y and take a look at my time at Chartis by the numbers. ⏲ In my 8 years here I've hired 71 FTEs. ⏲ I can't even begin to count the number of contractors I've hired so we'll call that too many to count (hey, I'm not one of our actual consultants so get over it). ⏲ At one point in time, I had hired 75% of our #RevenueCycle practice. ⏲ I've served 4 of our major practice areas: Technology, Revenue Cycle, Performance Improvement, and now I am with our Strategy group. ⏲ I've been promoted 3 times. ⏲ OK, I don't travel like a real #consultant, but I still have a miles status in the 6-figures. ⏲ I've directly led 6 people and mentor many others leading to at least 3 promotions that I can think of. ⏲ I've probably cursed in the millions of times and it's one of my favorite things about the firm. heh heh. Dan's wish for me was that I would welcome the challenge, enjoy the culture, and contribute to our clients' success and make healthcare better by recruiting the best and brightest to the firm... 💌 A wish that will never be fully achieved, but contributed to every day. #anniversary #recruiter #RecruiterLife #Big8 **** ⭐ Want to work here, too? Please take the time to #congratulate our region’s newest #branchmanager, headed up 87 North to our Latham Branch…   Patric “Patty Gunz” Guerra   Pat started his career in Area U at 24H3 in May of 2018! He quickly became a standout with his personal #performance and his team player mentality! During a year and half time at H3, Pat was an Area MVP 4X, Top 10 14X, Top 3 3X, and qualified every month as an #managementtrainee and #managementassistant! During his time at H3, the team posted their 3/6/12 month #customerservice scores ALL OVER 90+!   Pat was then #promoted to #assistantmanager for the Beacon location in 24CC. Showing great #flexibility and #leadership by searching for #promotions even outside of HH! Pat continued his #consistency as a top performer in his new role, being qualified all 5 months there. His team had the #1 Net Other in the region for 3 straight months, while again posting 90+ Customer Service score!   Pat, like many others, had to deal with the crazy COVID world, and really did tell the story of #resiliency! Pat was told “no” on several interview attempts and then was a part of the COVID challenges with staffing being lessened. Pat was 100% on board with coming back home as the Assistant Manager at 24H3, where he had great success. Pat has been in his position for just over 3 years now, and has many success stories added to his resume. He also has a unique story where he was in for 7 Branch Manager interviews over this timeline, and could have given up after being told no several times. Pat remained #disciplined, #positive in his thinking, and #resilient. He also ensured that his performance was continue to climb, where some would let it drop. He helped aide in over 10 skill/grill, 4 AM Promotions, multiple intern converts, 20 to 40% DEG in back to back years, all while remaining qualified as an Assistant every single month. He and his H3 team currently hold an outstanding 90/89/90 3/6/12 Customer Service score while increasing Net Profit by 42%!   An unbelievable story of sticking the course and believing in your path!   Pat would like to thank Rich Asner, Barry Gray Jr., Mark Gunsch, and his H3 team!   #Congrats again Pat! Today marks my 100th day at Jewson Partnership Solutions. It has been exciting so far, filled with warmth, support, and new opportunities. Here are a few highlights from this milestone: 🤝 Onboarding and Welcome: From day one, the open and supportive culture at Jewson Partnership Solutions, has helped me understand the business and made me feel like a valued part of the team.   🎨 Projects and Initiatives: Currently, I'm enjoying being involved in some new initiatives, such as the rebranding project of our sister business, George Boyd UK . Exciting times ahead as we shape the future of our brand!  🌐 Company Culture: What impresses me the most is the open and transparent communication within the wider STARK Building Materials UK. Frank discussions, peer support, and an inclusive environment, make every day a pleasure to be part of.  🤗 Colleague Support: A big shoutout to my colleagues for their unwavering support.
