❗ 𝟯𝗗 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀❗ Stratasys and Ricoh USA, Inc. have launched a clinical study to assess the effectiveness of 3D printed models for preoperative planning and tumour excision in orthopaedic oncology. This study will compare the outcomes of surgeries using patient-specific 3D printed models versus those relying on CT or MRI imaging alone. The goal is to showcase improvements in surgical precision, reduced blood loss, shorter operating times, and lower risk of complications. With life-size anatomical replicas, doctors can simulate procedures more accurately, enhancing surgical outcomes and patient recovery. Medical experts believe 3D modelling can revolutionise surgical preparation and patient education. #3DPrinting #Preoperative #Healthcare
