There's a LOT to be said for expertise. Longevity has it's own category, but epertise over a long period of time makes you special. I saw this video today while cruising the webs. George is an icon. A master of his craft. And, he's as humble as the day is long. 👞 Those first two? We find them a lot. Icon? Give me your definition. Success over a small window as a musician or an athlete? Master of their craft? Picasso or Hendrix? Masters, but far too subjective to say a "success". Especially within their own lifetime! (Most artists aren't wealthy. Their estates are.)👨🎨 But... You put a shine on shoes. You give great service AND put a shine on shoes. You give great service, put a shine on shoes, AND make someone feel special for a few minutes? ANALOGY OF THE FANTASTIC FOUR AND THE 4 ELEMENTS. Water🌊,Earth🪨, Fire🔥 and Air🌬️.The classical elements found in the myth of different cultures and now a staple trope in Movies,TV shows,novels and comics. As a devout marvel comic book fan, I've discovered interesting similarities between the Fantastic Four and the classic elements.Through their well known powers and their personalities, you're sure to agree there is an obvious pattern Marvel hasn't fully taken note of.Ok! Let's go: (1)FIRE🔥: Starting with the obvious here. The hot-headed hotshot prince of flames- Johnny Storm. He creates flames around his body and projects them as weapons; but there's more . Like fire Johnny has a lot of passion and energy, which is productive when wielded right and rather chaotic when out of control.He also carries a unique warmth that earns him people's love. (2) EARTH🪨: Still on the obvious train here. The rough and rocky Ben Grimm. As earth Ben is a dependable, strong and sturdy member of the team.He is rough around the edges and can be stony with his words, but when you dig a little deeper you'll realize how tender and lively guy. (3).AIR🌬️: Not so obvious this one but you'll see. Firstly,Sue Storm can become invisible like the air. Just like the enveloping effect of air Sue's the teams cover.She can be quick like breeze,in her thinking and on her feet.She has a calming effect around her teammates and family, usually settling squabbles within the team. (4).WATER🌊: Adaptability, resourcefulness, versatility;these are all characteristics of water that greatly mirror the person of Mr.Fantastic (Reed Richards). He has proven to be very flexible to the demands of their adventures and the needs of his team just like water is the easiest to adapt within the elemental circle. What do you think? Know your worth! I laugh when I look at this shot - one in a million chance of capturing the precise moment when these birds are locked in eye to eye! I love the way the image illustrates the sheer contrast in size between the enormity of the eagle’s body and the small silhouette of the blue jay. I’ll always be thankful that I was in the right spot at the right time. Love you Originality - Blue Jays are found to be fiercely territorial, so they don't allow any other species in their place, no matter who comes there. Interference Analysis - from eagles point of view, it hardly pays attention to the Blue Jay's attack as it knows it's real worth. Keep Focused: both the eagle and blue jay are focused on their goal; the latter doesn't like the presence of former and the former doesn't care. Acknnowlege your worth: the eagle has strong acknowledgement of its actual worth so acting accordingly with disdain by sliding a thin layer over it's eye.
