Ingredient-driven private chefs! If you enjoy working with organic, pasture raised, quality products (and can travel!), read ahead: This is for a Private Chef role with a high-profile family based half the year in New Jersey. This is a growing family of healthy, clean eaters who are open to all cuisines and enjoy high quality organic ingredients, sourced from local farms and suppliers whenever possible. Very few allergies, but gluten free is essential. The chef is focused on lunch and dinner. Of note, they are happy for the chef to cook what they feel is freshest in-season as this individual is doing daily grocery shopping and will have their pulse on the market. This is a full time year-round, live out position with a schedule that involves flexibility and significant pre-planned travel. Personality-wise, they are looking for a positive, laidback disposition and high level of professionalism with extensive private cheffing experience. They are not a formal household with a full staff; this role will be maintaining ownership over the kitchen/pantry and upkeep. Additional details regarding travel provided after interview. Of note, this role requires an individual based out of New Jersey or willing to relocate there. Compensation in the $130-140k salary range, Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks off, and relocation assistance provided.
