It's Official lauch day!!! I'm so proud of all of the amazing humans that played a role in bringing this course into the world. It's been a learning journey for me and for all of us at P4G in what it takes to build something collaboratively that we feel is meaningful and will have impact. When we started doing workshops, it was really fulfilling and felt like we were creating spaces for people to share and connect with this work without fear. And as impactful as that felt... There was only 30-40 people in the room and how do they continue to learn and embrace this. It was with that momentum and intention that these modules came into the world. I remember when Sylvia Gawad first brought it up as something we should do I almost burst with excitement. There was a debate at the SEWF - Social Enterprise World Forum C.I.C. In Ethiopia in 2019 around growth... is it good and is it bad? When you put social entrepreneurs in a room and have them debate it's hard because they mostly agree on things! One of the points the was made in that debate I'll never forget it was "if we know that the problem is impacting millions of people, why are we creating solutions that are impacting hundreds?" and I don't mean to say that this one piece of learning will "fix" things its complex and it should be complex it's going to take all hands on deck! I do feel that this learning can be a part of that and it allows for everyone to explore some reflective learning on such a variety of topics. I think most people know by now that I have ADHD and I gotta say I was actually surprised how well this kept my attention and how engaged in the learning I was going through it. But don't take my word for it check it our for yourself. Let me know if you have any questions!! Be purposeful in all you do!
