⚡ Our Energy Policy Director, Matteo Rambaldi, participated as a panelist in the conference organised today by the EU Delegation to Algeria and the Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion (AAPI). 🇩🇿 🔎 Concerning raw materials, Europe relies on imports, often from a single country, and recent crises have underlined its strategic dependencies. Diversifying the imports, including from neighbouring countries like Algeria, will improve EU capacity to mitigate risks of disruptions to the supply of critical raw materials, components, but also secondary raw materials. In addition, defining an equivalent legal framework, in particular on ecodesign and energy label, would strengthen partnerships 🤝 with Algeria and would facilitate mutual investments.
