Just as the 2024 Paralympic Games athletes break barriers on the world stage, UK Acumen Fellow Jenny Sealey challenges us to rethink how we view disability in everyday life. She emphasizes the need for access, visibility, and inclusion—values essential in every sector. At Acumen, we believe in leaders who dare to challenge the status quo and have the moral imagination to build a world where everyone is seen, heard, and given the chance to thrive. As the 2024 Paralympic Games come to a close, we take our hats off to these incredible athletes whose stories inspire us to keep pushing for a more inclusive world, where everyone has the opportunity to flourish. Jenny, the artistic director at Graeae Theatre Company, extended her vision for inclusion to the global stage when she co-directed the London 2012 Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony alongside Bradley Hemmings.

They had the knowledge and skill but lacked one crucial thing: ownership. Raj and his team set out to build something new—a community-owned tea business where farmers are not just workers, but shareholders. With Kumaon Tea’s farmer-owned processing plant, they’re now earning 3x more for their crops and sharing in the profits. Learn more about this Acumen investee ➡ https://lnkd.in/dd7ZxqsK
