"Why didn't I think of that?" Have you ever wondered how donors from the ice bucket challenge turned into committed, long-term supporters and advocates for ASL? In the nonprofit sector, creativity is crucial to prevent donor attrition. We're always seeking ways to stand out, crafting a narrative that resonates with the masses. The ice bucket challenge generated excitement and massive financial support for ASL, and I wish I had thought of the ice bucket challenge. But I appreciate the reliability of consistent monthly donors. Their support trickles in small amounts month after month, year after year. Like me, they're patiently filling ice trays with water, committed for the long haul. #nonprofitfundraising #nonprofitmanagement #nonprofitleadership

We are doing a fundraiser for @tendingthegarden.4.sas If you are unaware of what@ttg is, it is my non-profit . “Founded in 2019 by Jimanekia Eborn, Tending the Garden grew from an idea to an organization rooted in social justice, equity, and compassionate care. In totality, Tending the Garden is for marginalized survivors who are looking for community, healing, education, and growth. We strive to provide this community through retreats, workshops, live events, and resources. Our programming is created to serve underserved individuals who deserve to feel seen, supported, and heard in an environment where they will be respected and not re-traumatized.” I say all that to say I need YOUR HELP! We are doing a fundraiser where you do not have to spend money!! We just need you to answer a few questions and survey products you already use. Each short survey you complete can earn us $1.60 in donations. They take around 60 seconds You can complete up to 75 We have a chance to earn! $15,000!!! This year’s goal is to build out our community component and structure. Which looks like Support groups, message boards, resources, tools, and more. As we embark on a new year... I find myself reflecting on the challenges that lie ahead... But more importantly, the meaningful impact we can collectively make. The landscape of charitable needs is ever-evolving. Shaped by global events... Economic shifts... And societal changes. Just because the harvest was a certain way last year... Doesn't mean that it's going to be the same this year. Inevitably, many charities are anticipated to face heightened challenges in 2024. Specifically those charities with: - A substantial increase in need (e.g. those serving the homeless, mental health, armed conflict) - Increased costs (charities delivering material items and with a service-based delivery model) - A diminishing donor base.
