Oh the things you find when doing investigations. We were brought in on this project to review some rotting beams that were structurally supporting the second floor. During the investigation, some less than ideal details were discovered including this stellar column base connection. We are thinking of adding it to our library of "How Not to Build". In honor of National Truckers Day, we wanted to highlight a recently completed project at 3300 Terminal Drive in Eagan, MN. This 14,000 SF exterior remodel of an industrial warehouse space met the challenge of balancing city requirements with the budgetary needs of the project for a deliverable that was cost-effective, long-lasting, and aesthetically pleasing.   A main goal of this project was to design the building in a way that functions as a whole, while allowing for re-demising opportunities for potential subtenants in the future, so effective layout of the infrastructure was important.   To uphold the municipality's architectural façade requirements, the PlanForce team integrated additional brick and glass throughout the exterior - something that is not typical for warehouse projects.
