Inclusivity matters at Breakthrough. In honor of Pride this year, bProud, our employee resource group that aims to cultivate a community of LGBTQ+ and ally-identifying employees across our global corporate offices, introduced a new speaker series. Our inaugural guest was Stacy Lentz, co-owner of the Stonewall Inn and CEO of the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (SIGBI.) Stacy shared the storied history of the iconic Stonewall Inn and how 55 years ago it became the birthplace of the Pride movement. She also spoke to philanthropic efforts of SIGBI which includes providing funding for grassroots organizations to support their work in education, LGBTQ+ awareness/rights and access to healthcare. We celebrate our LGBTQ+ colleagues, allies, and their families this month and every month. Happy Pride!

This month, we stand proud and united to commemorate Pride Month, a celebration of love, diversity, acceptance, and self-expression. This is not just a time to acknowledge the struggles and victories of the LGBTQ+ community but also to reflect on the importance of creating a more inclusive and empathetic society. As we celebrate Pride, let us also remember the importance of allyship. Being an ally means supporting and standing up for the rights of those who identify as LGBTQ+. It means creating safe spaces at work and in our communities where everyone can be their authentic selves. It requires constant learning, understanding, and committing to equality and justice. This Pride month—and all year round—let's strive to spread love, promote inclusivity, and uplift each other. Because when one of us succeeds, we all do. How are you celebrating Pride month and promoting inclusivity in your community? #PrideMonth #Inclusivity #Allyship

Happy #LGBTQHistoryMonth 🌈 🏳️⚧️. You matter. Your contributions matter. Your hard work and intellect matter. You are needed at work and in this world, just as you are. In fact, you bring a diverse set of skills and perspectives to the workplace that lead to the following positive business benefits (based on a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation study): ✅Firms with LGBTQ+ inclusive practices show a positive impact on profitability and market valuation. ✅Companies that are more inclusive of LGBTQ+ employees recorded productivity levels 3% higher than less inclusive ones. ✅LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion improves business financial performance. ✅Among the top 50 Fortune 500 companies, attracting talent is seen as a major benefit for adopting policies that specifically focus on LGBTQ+ inclusion. The history of the LGBTQ+ community is rich with joy and grief. Through the ups and downs, the history-making victories and the challenges that tested our resolve, our collective community has become stronger, showing that we are an unstoppable force. This month, we honor the trailblazers, activists, leaders, and everyday heroes who have paved the way for LGBTQ+ rights and equality. Individually and as a collective community, we can break down barriers, bring everyone along, and illuminate the way forward where workplaces—and the world—are rich in inclusion and belonging, and innovation and opportunity are unlocked, for LGBTQ+ people and for all. #LGBTQHistoryMonth

As we continue through June, our feeds are filled with rainbow logos and "Love Is Love" messages. But many in the LGBTQ+ community are questioning the authenticity of this support. "Rainbow capitalism" and "pinkwashing" often overshadow genuine efforts for equality. The real question is: How can brands authentically support LGBTQ+ communities? Consumers today want actions, not just symbols. So, if you're a well-meaning brand, consider these steps: 🌈 Support queer and trans creators. 🌈Establish forward-thinking policies for LGBTQ+ employees. 🌈Integrate LGBTQ+ advocacy with other social justice efforts. 🌈Invest in year-round contributions to LGBTQ+ causes. Retire the rainbow logo and let your actions represent your true allyship through consistent, meaningful actions. ✨ With Peter Gandolfo, MBA, Executive Coach (PCC) #PrideMonth #LGBTQSupport #AuthenticAllyship #ExecutiveCoach #InclusionMatters

🌈🌈 Together to celebrate Pride Month! 🌈🌈 June is Pride Month, a special time when we honor and celebrate love, acceptance, and the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. As professionals, it is our duty to promote inclusion and create safe and welcoming work environments for everyone. In this month of celebration, let us remember the importance of being active allies. Here are some ways we can make a difference: 1️⃣ Educate ourselves: Take the time to better understand the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals in the workplace. Education helps us become more aware and adopt inclusive behaviors. 2️⃣ Support LGBTQ+ organizations: Many organizations are dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ rights. Make a donation or volunteer at these associations to contribute tangibly to the cause. 3️⃣ Create safe spaces: Ensure that our work environment is inclusive and free from discrimination. Promote company policies that protect LGBTQ+ employees from bullying or prejudice. 4️⃣ Challenge stereotypes: Break down stereotypes based on sexual orientation or gender identity. Value colleagues' skills without judging them based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. #logisticlife #dsvlogistic

It's World Pride Month....and sorry adding a rainbow to your product is not Allyship - it's marketing. While it's wonderful to see rainbows everywhere, it's important to remember that true allyship goes beyond adding a rainbow to your product or website. Allyship means: ❤️ Listening and Learning: Taking the time to understand the experiences and challenges of the LGBTQ+ community. 💜 Supporting and Empowering: Amplifying LGBTQ+ voices, supporting LGBTQ+ businesses, and advocating for equal rights. 💙 Creating Inclusive Environments: Ensuring your workplace and products are genuinely inclusive and safe for everyone, not just during Pride Month but all year round. 💛 Taking Action: Donating to LGBTQ+ causes, participating in events, and pushing for policies that support the community. Adding a rainbow to your product can be a symbol of support, but without meaningful action, it risks being seen as just another marketing tactic. Let's make this World Pride Month not just about visible support, but about real, impactful allyship. Together, we can make a difference. #worlpridemonth #LGBTQplusallyship #inclusiveworkplace #realsupport

🌈 Pride Month! 🌈 As we enter week #2 of Pride Month, I wanted to share some ways we can show our support and celebrate! 1. Educate Yourself and Others: Understanding the history and significance of Pride is crucial. Take time to learn about key milestones in the LGBTQ+ rights movement, such as the Stonewall Riots of 1969, and educate others to foster a more inclusive society. 2. Create Inclusive Spaces: Whether at work or in your community, strive to create environments where everyone feels safe and respected. Implement policies that support diversity and inclusion and ensure that LGBTQ+ voices are heard and valued. 3. Attend Pride Events: Many cities host parades, workshops, and other events during Pride Month. Participating in these events is a great way to show solidarity and celebrate the diversity within the LGBTQ+ community. 4. Share Your Support: Use social media platforms to show your support for Pride Month. Share educational resources, inspirational stories, and messages of solidarity to spread awareness and encourage others to do the same. Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈
