TEDx | Deep market intelligence and smashing barriers are my superpowers | Connecting Public Sector with Emerging/Underserved Companies and Communities is my mission | Helping people is my only measure of success
A Commercialization Acceleration Model powered by deep market intel! The Tech Innovation Circle kicked off the Innovation Project (one of the three pillars which also includes Learning and Community), focused on using deep market intelligence as one of the levers to accelerate commercialization. The TIC's Founding Members, including Michael Hanson Ty Smith Conrad Hollomon Elle Gahl Jae Yu Gavin Aydelotte along with myself first dove deep into defining the "commercialization problem" within the context of the Valleys of Death. We know that the Valley of Death and the barriers towards commercialization differ depending on the stage of maturity of of a product/concept. So instead of ONE Valley of Death, we referenced the framework in the picture below, by the Third Derivative (a #climatetech ecosystem connector), which is an insightful provides some important insights and a useful framework for others to leverage. We will be diving deeper as we validate barriers along the journey and how market intel (among other solutions) can help lower those barriers. QUESTION FOR THE COMMUNITY: From your perspective, what are the biggest barriers that inhibit commercialization? Third Derivative Framework (Thanks Conrad for highlighting this): https://lnkd.in/eqtHUdV3 #emergingtech #valleyofdeath #defensetech #defenseinnovation Jesse Gipe Jake Chapman Craig Jaques Chris Bollinger Rob Handfield Thomas Kull Tim Laseter
