Congratulations Raika Aban Sengupta on your second work anniversary! 🤩 In her own words, she says, “Working at The Outlier has opened me up to so many opportunities that I never thought possible! From working with some really cool brands, to travelling across the country for various events - looking back I’m amazed on how much I’ve been able to do. I’m proud of everything I’ve been able to accomplish, and so happy to have an environment where I can learn at every opportunity. It definitely helps to have a space filled with incredibly supportive team members, who are ready to hype you up at any time.” As she takes a moment to reflect on her journey, she shares her thoughts with us – “Honestly, I can’t even believe it’s been two years! Some days it still feels like my first week - in that I’m often faced with something new and exciting, and I can’t wait to learn how to tackle it! I’ve carved out a specialization in the lifestyle sector and been able to form great relationships with individuals in the industry and media. I’ve also spent time honing my skills in team management and business development. It’s been great to find a space where I love to work in, and build a base for myself there. But my favourite part about my role, is the fact that I’m in charge of ordering snacks every month.” When asked about her favourite memory so far – she says, “Not sure if I should be mentioning this, but the time we had a mini popcorn explosion in the kitchen.” She adds, “One key learning I’ve had here is I can always ask for help. And every person on my team will be able to support me, in whatever way they can.” And the two things I’m looking forward to in the next 12 months are, “all the exciting work we have lined up! And, of course, Offsite 3.0.” #anniversary #congratulations #workiversary #team #bonding #opportunity #memories #publicrelations #agency #employeesatisfaction #bangalore #celebration #organization #workplace #learning

Today is my 1-year work anniversary with Hudson Technology Systems. If you check my job history, I rarely stay at one job, one position for more than a year. Even before I was in tech, I was a serial job hopper. Before tech, it was a function of boredom/annoyance, and since making the transition to tech, it has been a function of curiosity/opportunity (read: ability to both grow income and skillset). At this job with Hudson, I feel like I've got everything. We move fast, we work on interesting problems, the challenges are continuous. We take full ownership of the results, which we are at best rewarded for or at worst learn from. I'm allowed to be myself, and on top of that, my attitude toward programming and people doesn't cause negative conflict, but positive conflict that pushes us forward. Everyone on the team wants to be an S-tier player, do things the right way, and be the best they can be. Igor Ulis and my team members make it 100% worthwhile to keep working here, and I have a lot of gratitude toward them. I believe I'll be working with this team and these people for a long while. But, perhaps controversially, I would still encourage those who are not satisfied with their situation to continue job hopping and seeking projects at the edge of your ability. If you hop for the right reasons, you will make gains that help you become a stronger contributor, until you're fortunate enough to end up right where you should be. Better and better.

🎉 Work Anniversaries: What Do They Really Mean? 🎉 It’s easy to mark another year at work, but does that anniversary actually mean something? 🤔 If you’re in a job where growth feels stagnant, promotions are rare, the environment is toxic, or every day feels like a routine, the anniversary is just another reminder of time passing ⏳—without real progress. On the flip side, working somewhere that challenges you to grow, that values your unique qualities, and encourages you to constantly evolve—that’s where anniversaries truly matter. 💪 It’s about finding a place where you feel appreciated, where you’re learning, and becoming a better version of yourself—both professionally and personally. 🌱 A meaningful anniversary isn’t about counting the years. It’s about reflecting on how far you’ve come and how much you’ve grown—because that’s what truly matters. 🙌 #cvforsuccessgr #WorkAnniversary #GrowthJourney #BetterEveryDay #WorkCulture #ProfessionalGrowth

This month marks my 10th year (of corporate) work anniversary. I started working when I turned 14, washing dishes at a local restaurant because my mom threatened to take away my €2,50 weekly allowance if I would not start earning my own money on the side. Although I wanted to call CPS on her for this at the time, in hindsight it has brought me quite a lot. From that moment onward I juggled roles in restaurants, bars, pizza places, and healthcare - whilst trying to follow my education. Not the best combo. When I dropped out of school at 21, I found my first full-time position at Synpact. This is what kicked off my 10 year long corporate adventure. I'm aware that historically work anniversaries are celebrated after a certain amount of years, at a single employer. But as a classic millennial my career has consisted of a range of amazing employers and a variety of exciting projects. So no cake at my office desk from decade-long colleagues today, but I wanted to applaud myself nonetheless. It's been a wicked and rewarding ride. I honestly did not expect to hit this level of security, freedom, flexibility and confidence this soon. A very big thank you to all my previous employers, colleagues, clients, and friends who have helped shape this journey. I am very very grateful. And weirdly proud of myself. Cheers! - To another decade of growth! #workanniversary #remotework #businessanalyst

Yesterday I celebrated my official 1-year anniversary working at Rite of Passage, and with a little less than a year out of college, I wanted to recap the good and the lessons learned that happened this past year for the upcoming grads who are shivering in their boots as they enter the professional world. Lessons Learned: - Imposter syndrome is real. It is easy to feel like you aren't good enough for your new career but the "I am good enough" mantra works wonders when you are feeling that way! Fake it until you make it, or something like that. -Other people bring great inspiration! Creating relationships with coworkers, industry experienced individuals, and our audiences helped me greatly in creating solutions and feeling inspired in my role. - Creativity is a reflection of your environment. Surround yourself with great people, the setting that works for your brain when possible, and a company that reflects your values. Great Accomplishments - I got the opportunity to run and manage a movie release campaign for ROP that made a large impact on our audiences across the country. - Nearly 1800 new followers on our platforms in just about 7 months of consistency. Super proud of this accomplishment as 3 of 4 platforms were brand new/being actively used for the first time. - I moved to a new state, which while intimidating, allowed me to prosper in the things I wanted to be doing. You learn a lot about yourself when you move somewhere new! So excited to see what the future of my career brings and the continued development of my goals! Now the question is, do I congratulate myself from our company LinkedIn page...? Social media struggle. #CollegeGrad #SocialMedia #Communications #ROPiversary
