Have you been keeping an eye on the latest shift in coworking spaces? It’s all about hyper-localization. Imagine walking into a coworking space that doesn’t just look like any other office but feels like a vibrant part of its local #community. Take, for example, a #coworking space in Brooklyn’s DUMBO district. Instead of a generic, cookie-cutter design, you’d find elements that echo the local culture: artwork from local artists, a café featuring neighborhood favorites, and even events that highlight the area’s unique vibe. This approach isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about fostering a sense of belonging and community. By integrating local amenities and engaging with the neighborhood, these spaces are creating environments that resonate on a personal level with their members. This hyper-localization trend goes beyond just looking cool; it’s about creating spaces that people feel connected to. So, how do you see this trend unfolding in your area? #Coworking #FutureOfWork #Entrepreneur #Community #HardWork #TeamEffort #Trends #MarketTrends

Coworking Spaces are a Constant Surprise 🎁 When you think you've seen all the shapes coworking can take, life shows you that you did not 😅 While in Antwerp, we paid a visit to Ramón Antwerpen, which, on the outlook looks like... a house 🏠 To this point, nothing 'out-of-the-ordinary' for what we could call a neighborhood coworking space. But then, once we followed Matthias Neutjens around, we understood that Ramón Antwerpen was much more than that 😍 The upper floor of the house was converted into a beautiful 50 sqm rentable Studio that can be used to: 🛌 stay overnight 🧠 run brainstorming and events 📸 do photoshoots 🕯️ host beautiful dinners The studio has been decorated in the seventies style, with beautiful furniture and decor. Climbing down the stairs, you land in... the coworking space 👩🏻💻 - a beautiful floor fully thought to allow connections and collaboration. We particularly loved the garden view 🪴and could totally picture ourselves joining nice community barbecues in the summer ☀️ Then icing on the cake, Matthias and his partners converted the garage into... a bike repair shop 🚲 which they brought to life in collaboration with Erts cycles 🫶 - Such a great way to contribute to the neighborhood (for a city like Antwerp where a lot of people cycle) and support greener transportation. So, will we now add Coworking + Studio + Garage to our list of "seen spaces around the world" - A B S O L U T E L Y Thanks again Matthias and Arkasha Keysers for such a great time! See you around :) #coworking #coworkingspace #antwerp

Looking to create a coworking space that's not just functional but also inspiring? Dr. Hannah Yang, a licensed psychologist and Feng Shui enthusiast, has some great tips. She believes that by incorporating Feng Shui principles, you can create a space that fosters productivity, creativity, and overall well-being. Here are a few highlights from her article: - Declutter and organize: A clean and tidy space promotes focus and clarity. 🧹✨ - Incorporate natural elements: Plants, water features, and natural light can boost energy and mood. 🌱💧☀️ - Pay attention to color: Certain colors can stimulate creativity, inspire focus, or create a calming atmosphere. 🎨🌈 - Optimize furniture placement: The "command position" ensures you feel empowered and in control. 💪 Want to learn more? Coworking as the ultimate “system disruptor”? A few weeks ago, I was at a local meetup (hooray for Main Street businesses supporting each other) and someone said: "Politics + Capitalism = our built world. Design is the only intervention.” Designers, architects, and urban planners have the unique capability to infuse spaces with values that might be overshadowed in a purely profits-and-private-interests-driven world. By focusing on designs that center around human needs, fostering a sense of community, inclusivity, and accessibility, we can challenge the status quo and disrupt the usual way of doing things. Running a coworking space often involves challenging work with slim profit margins, which can be discouraging. But, conversations like this one remind me why I am part of this — contributing as a designer in my community, not as a politician. My goal is to create spaces that are equitable, sustainable, and attuned to the needs of the local community. We can counteract some of the negative effects that politics and capitalism might impose on our world through design that considers social justice, environmental sustainability, and cultural expression. I’m going to look at #coworking this year as intentionally designed to disrupt, and rebuild alongside those who are looking for a new way, too.

😊 This year, Miquel Àngel Julià Hiero, Concept Architect, our Design and Marketing Director, has participated in the trend report "The New Habitat 25/26", as an expert in RETAIL, HOSPITALITY and WORKPLACE. After a first presentation session at ELISAVA Madrid, on June 19th we enjoyed the presentation of the report detailing the new trends in WORKPLACE at the Bernadí Hub in Barcelona. It has also been presented in Bilbao and the sessions will be repeated in the main cities. In Barcelona, with an initial explanation by Pepa Casado D'Amato and Lucía Marín Forés, we were able to gain more insights into the report and its key aspects. We were then able to enjoy a round table discussion with several of the participants who helped create the report. The table was moderated by Miquel Àngel and formed by Beatriz de Latorre Caballero de Rodas from Savills, Óscar Blasco from scob, Maria Comas Giménez from batlleiroig and Pablo Garrido Torres from b720 Fermin Vazquez Arquitectos. Not forgetting to mention Arantxa Bernadí Ros from BERNADI and Mar Gómez-Luengo Bermejillo from Tétris who also participated in the creation of the report. 👍 Many significant issues were addressed, concluding that the workspace is something that we also inhabit and that the transformation in its design reflects an evolution towards spaces that help to create community and collaborate with others. In the words of Miquel Àngel Julià Hierro: "The coworking concept entered Spain as an economic solution for renting space, initially seen as 'sharing a table'. Today it has evolved towards collaboration and co-creation of projects. It is a cultural question to determine which coworking approach best suits each user: working alone in an office or sharing space with other companies and people from other disciplines? To capture new ideas and solutions, to cross-pollinate, you need to immerse yourself in a collaborative environment beyond the traditional four walls. #GrupIdea #engineering #architecture #expertise #MEP #retail #habitattrend

Office Space in India is Green and Sustainable! 🌱 As per a recent report, over 65% of office spaces in India are now green-certified, with southern cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad leading this transformation. Bengaluru leads with an impressive 172 million sq ft of green-certified office space, while Chennai has the highest percentage share at 83%. This shift towards green buildings is a positive step towards achieving our net zero emissions goal by 2070. Proud to see India taking the lead in sustainable construction and service delivery, setting a global example. https://lnkd.in/giBmdvut
