I’ve been reflecting on the rollercoaster that is Q4 in our industry. If we are honest, it’s always a bit of a slog, but I am ending the year on such a positive note, with two exciting new client projects lined up to kick off the new year! Q1 is one of my favourite times—there’s something so refreshing about a clean slate. It’s the perfect moment to mix things up: rethinking reporting, tweaking meetings, sparking new ideas, and diving into fresh strategies. For those clients who felt like 2024 got away from them, it’s the ideal time to regroup and start strong. While I am lucky that one team is at full client capacity until Q2, this early momentum is such a great way to approach the year ahead—not rushed, but purposeful. I love that balance of starting fresh while still having space to be creative. And let’s be honest: I’m also living for the upcoming break. A chance to recharge and soak up some festive cheer is precisely what the doctor ordered before jumping into what’s shaping up to be an exciting year. Here’s to a restful Christmas and a bright start to 2025 for us all! 🌟 #FreshStart #ClientSuccess #Q1Momentum #HolidayReady

I always hear people saying, “Begin as you mean to go on,” at the beginning of new year and I’ve always thought that was a good way to approach the start of a new year. It’s a blank slate. Anything can happen. I always am full of ideas and the new year makes it seem like anything is possible. I’m EXCITED about 2025. The momentum I built in 2024 makes 2025 look like it could be an amazing year. I had big plans for this past week to get a head start on my plans and really focus on the behind the scenes work I need to do to hit the ground running in 2025. I have a lot I want to accomplish in my personal life and in my business. I was going to begin 2025 as I mean to go on. But instead, I’ve spent the last week in bed battling the flu. Instead of celebrating the new year at midnight, I went to bed at 8 p.m. Instead of spending time at my desk outlining my priorities, I’d have to take a nap after walking from my bedroom to the kitchen. There’s nothing like a 103 degree fever to make you reconsider your priorities. I definitely did NOT begin 2025 in the way I mean to go on. But even when I’m not at my best, I’m really good at adjusting my plans on the fly. Instead, as I start to get my energy back, I’ll make time to do the work focusing on my business that I had planned to do this week. And I’m so excited to dive into my new client projects, speaking engagements and special projects I already have planned for 2025. While the year did not begin as I mean to go on, I’m still beginning the year with optimism, enthusiasm and appreciation for everything that happened in 2024 to get me to this place. #StrategicPlanning #InternalCommunication #StrategicCommunication #SmallBusinessOwner #SwingCommInsights

Why it is critical to wrap up the year strong… As 2024 begins to wind down, it is tempting to ease off the gas and start thinking about fine food and time with friends. Count me in! But before we slip into holiday mode, let’s make sure to close out the year strong and dance into 2025 with purpose and determination. I’m not here to play the role of Mister Grinch and ruin the party, celebrating successes and enjoying time off is so important both for yourself and your team! But before the festivities begin, here are some friendly tips that will set you up for success in 2025. Carry Momentum into the New Year A strong finish boosts team morale and establishes momentum, creating a seamless transition into the next year with clear objectives and confidence in execution. How many of you out there have experienced an organisation that feels like they are only coming back to work in mid January due to lack of positive momentum, and by which time January and Q1 targets are already under pressure? Don’t get me wrong, take your well earned break but have the team excited for 2025 and be ready to hit the ground running! Maximize Revenue Opportunities The final weeks of the year are ripe with opportunities to hit targets and strengthen your financial position. Focus on completing outstanding projects and meeting KPIs to avoid carrying unresolved tasks into the New Year. Strategically focus on deals or initiatives that can close before year-end to boost the bottom line and carry into that momentum we discussed in the previous paragraph! Strengthen Client Relationships The end of the year is an ideal time to nurture client relationships, and align on mutual goals for the year ahead. Even if your clients are not ready to take the time out to discuss it with you in December, do the outreach, have a conversation and get that QBR on the calendar with them for early January. It is a great opportunity to touch base, shows your commitment to their success but also plants the seed that you’re already invested in delivering value for 2025. By focusing on these key areas, you’ll ensure a productive close to the year and position your company for a strategic, high-energy start to the New Year. Once the work is done, then go enjoy the season and take a well earned break, 2025 will be here before we know it ! #AWGS #Momentum #Opportunities #Clients

🌟 The Gap Week: Between Christmas and New Year’s 🌟 This week is often overlooked—but it’s where the magic happens. Here’s how I’m using this time to set the tone for the future: 1️⃣ Declutter and Reflect Clearing out old files, reviewing my wins and lessons from 2024. (It’s amazing what a clean desk and a clear mind can do!) 2️⃣ Small Wins for Big Energy Instead of massive goals, I’m focusing on micro-actions: One meaningful conversation One task off the “I’ll do it later” list One moment to recharge 3️⃣ Visionary Steps Forward I’ve already prepared my vision board for my 2025 goals. Yes, 2025! Looking ahead inspires me to think big and take bold steps. It’s not just about where I’ll be next year. it’s about the journey I’m starting now. ✨ What about you? Are you making this “in-between” time count? 💫 Also wishing you a Happy Pre-New Year! Let’s finish 2024 strong and step into 2025 with clarity and purpose. P.S. This isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing what matters. Let’s make this week count. 🥰

Happy New Year! 🎉 Is It too late to say Happy New Year? But wait!!! Is it just me, or does it feel like January is flying by already? Well before 2024 ended, I felt overwhelmed (who hasn’t been there, right?). So, I decided to pause, catch my breath, and get intentional about how I want my year to go—without burning out. In a world that pulls us in so many directions, staying grounded takes effort, but it’s worth it. Here are a few things I’m doing to make 2025 my most balanced and productive year yet: 💡 Take it one step at a time. You can’t do everything all at once— and that’s okay. Focus on progress, not perfection. 💡 "Start to finish" is my mantra this year. Whatever I start, I’m committed to seeing it through. No more unfinished projects piling up! 💡 Rest when you need to, but don’t stay down too long. Taking a breather doesn’t mean you’re giving up. Recharge and get back to it! What are your tips for staying on track this year? Drop them in the comments—I’d love to hear what’s working for you. Here’s the exciting part! To kick things off, I’m challenging myself in 2025. I’ve joined the 7-Day Content Challenge with Horsfall Fortuna to stay consistent and build my online presence. It’s all about showing up, growing, and embracing new opportunities for visibility and growth. 💪 Let’s make this year count together. As the year draws to a close, the season of resolutions is upon us once again. "New year, new resolutions," right? But let’s be honest—many of these resolutions are often short-lived. By March, most of us have either forgotten or abandoned what we set out to achieve. That’s why I believe in starting early. For me, 2025 began on December 1st, 2024. I've already outlined my goals and started working toward them. This means I’ve given myself a 31-day head start, ensuring that I don’t just plan—I act. This is also the time of year when people reflect on their successes and achievements. If you feel like you haven’t achieved much, I want you to know that it’s okay. Sometimes, making it through the year is an achievement in itself. What’s important is to use this reflection as a call to action: to be more intentional and deliberate about the year ahead. If you plan well and execute effectively, the coming year could bring achievements greater than all your previous years combined. The best time to start was December 1st. The second-best time to start is now. Good afternoon, and here’s to a purposeful 2025!

Fifty days. That’s all we have left in 2024. Fifty days to look back and ask, 𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐈 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐈 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝? Just the other night, I sat with my journal, flipping through pages filled with goals, dreams, scribbled intentions, and promises I made to myself back in January. Some of those dreams came to life. But then, others? Well… some pages looked more like forgotten scribbles than fulfilled goals. And if you’re like me, you may be feeling this bittersweet twinge. There’s pride for what you’ve accomplished, sure – but there’s also a bit of regret for what slipped through the cracks. 👎Dreams delayed. 👎Goals left untouched. 👎Those plans you swore you'd get around to. But here’s what I know: these last fifty days are an opportunity, a time to shake off the dust and go after what matters. Don’t wait for January to come around with another resolution. That cycle ends here. This is where the 𝟑𝟎 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 comes in – a way to focus, reset, and 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠. Starting December, it’s thirty days of commitment, focus, and follow-through. You’ll get daily check-ins, support from a group who’s running the same race, and that little nudge every single day to keep pushing. Imagine looking back on December and thinking, 𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐭. Not because a new year gave you another chance, but because you showed up. You prioritised the promises you made to yourself. Fifty days left – the perfect time to prove that this year was yours after all. Ready to finish 2024 strong? Join the challenge by using the link in the comments and let’s make this countdown a powerful one. #goals #accountability #30daysaccountabilitychallenge

As we step into the new year, it's natural to see a flood of posts across platforms, including LinkedIn, celebrating new beginnings & exciting chapters. But perhaps your new year feels a little different—quieter, a continuation of last year, or even feeling by a bit of the "Janu-worry blues." It's easy to get caught up in the hype of "starting fresh," but the reality is that most of us are simply picking up where we left off, navigating the blues that sometimes come with January, and slowly finding our rhythm again. Remember: it’s only Day 7. The year has just begun. Give yourself grace and space to set the tone for your 2025 at your own pace. Momentum takes time. One thing that’s helped me ease into the year is a simple exercise I love: Start, Stop & Continue. Here’s how it works (and you can apply it to both your professional and personal life): 🚀 What do you want to start doing this year? 🛑 What do you want to stop doing this year? 🔥 What do you want to continue doing this year? It’s a simple way to build on what you’ve already achieved, making new goals feel less overwhelming while celebrating last year’s wins. P.S. Sharing a little behind-the-scenes reality: The picture is of my dining room table today, still holding last year’s clutter, my 2024 diary (I’m still getting 2025 sorted!), and some Christmas stickers. Here’s to embracing the imperfection and starting where you are.

As we step into December, the final chapter of the year, I’m taking this time to reflect, refocus, and recharge. 🌟 This month is a unique opportunity to celebrate the progress I’ve made over the past 11 months while setting my sights on how I want to close the year strong. Whether it’s tying up loose ends, revisiting goals, or finding ways to finish projects on a high note, I’m reminded that there’s still time to make an impact. For me, this is also a season of connection—both personally and professionally. It’s a time to appreciate colleagues, recognize teamwork, and express gratitude for the partnerships and collaborations that have made 2024 a success. But December isn’t just about looking back—it’s also about looking ahead. How can I end this year with purpose and intention? What small steps can I take today to set the tone for a fresh and energized start in the new year? This month, I’m focusing on making every moment count—not by rushing through it but by being mindful, strategic, and present in everything I do. Let’s finish 2024 on a high note. 🚀 https://lnkd.in/eauv3vDq #WorkWithPurpose #DecemberGoals #FinishStrong #EndOfYearMomentum
