Today is my last day as a data analyst intern for Co-op Solutions! What an amazing experience it's been working with Internal Audit and the Intern Coordinators. But it's not all sad news because I'm fortunate enough to announce that this is NOT the end of my days with Co-op! Starting Monday, I will be a Release Manager I in a new department as a full-time remote employee at this company that I've grown to love and appreciate working at. Needless to say, I'm super excited for this new opportunity! After years of studying and waiting to really get out into the world, I get to apply myself and learn so many new skills and experiences. My future team seems amazing so far, and I can't wait for what's next in this new chapter of my life! End of July update with Co-op Solutions: This month had been the best so far with all kinds of collaborations, meetings, and project work to experience! We even had a competitive Intern Innovation Event, which not only gave a great opportunity for the company to get feedback on internal processes and problems, but also for interns to configure solutions and showcase their talents in a "Shark Tank" format. The "Sharks" were amazing higher-ups within the company with great Q&A questions and insights into all the presentations. It was such an honor that my team with Braden Bennett and Tanner Parrott won 1st place for our problems and solutions! Some of the criteria were feasibility, innovation/creativity, organization, presentation, and so on. The best part of it all is that the problematic processes (or a lack of them and controls) we pointed out got people moving to make changes in the company. Us interns got a voice and launched internal actions for improvement. I couldn't feel any more proud of what our team accomplished and what I saw from other teams! This Shark Tank innovation event was a fantastic idea, and as a guinea pig, I highly recommend keeping it for future internship programs to use fresh, young eyes to keep identifying inefficiencies and risks. I can't wait to see how new changes come to fruition with us as a part of that. There are more intern events coming up that I'm excited for as the summer program wraps up, like the iCubs game, more intern workshops, and final takeaway presentations. It's officially the end of my 1st month at Co-op Solutions! How lucky am I to be able to say my excitement and hopes were well met with my wonderful team and the amazing leaders throughout the company. From hours of one-on-one meetings, networking with coworkers in other departments, meeting our executives, and learning so much on the job, I feel like I've grown much more and can pursue my curiosities. I'm surprised by how approachable, flexible, knowledgeable, and awesome everyone here is all the time. It's a work culture of passion, care, and excellence. I don't really like how overused "family" is by all these companies who don't care, but it's honestly the best word to describe the environment at Co-op. So far it's been a great internship, and I can't wait for Monday again to see what new work and challenges are in store for me! I'm so delighted to finally have my first day at work for Co-op Solutions as an Internal Audit Data Analytics Intern! I'm luckier than ever to have my amazing team and be among so many bright and friendly people. The #cooplife looks awesome so far, and I can't wait for all the great things I'm going to learn!

I'm so excited to attend the 2023 Iowa Technology Summit Powered by Wellmark this Tuesday! The Technology Association of Iowa has so many great planned events and opportunities that I wish I could see every speaker & leader. My CO-OP Solutions team member Lisa Monroe is even leading a session, so it's guaranteed to be a fantastic time. I'd better fix my sleep schedule now though since it will be from 7:30am-4:00pm, and there will be LOTS of notes I can't wait to take!

So excited to have made the Ivy College of Business Dean's List again this Fall 2022! That makes 5/5 semesters and a solid 3.97 GPA. Spring is already flying by, and I can't wait to graduate this May with a degree in Management Information Systems and another in Business Analytics. I am beyond excited to officially announce that I will join the Co-op Solutions team as an Internal Audit Data Analyst Intern next summer! The decision was neither hard nor long after the amazing experience I had meeting Dhata Harris, MBA, CISA, CISM, SSBB, Brittany Jamison, CFE, ISA, PCIP, Mady Schmidt, and more. I'm so thankful to everyone and everything that led me to this amazing opportunity, and I can't wait for what the future has in store at Co-op and this wonderful department. #newadventures #opportunity #future #team
