Need some Monday motivation? Look no further than the incredible team at Masabi who just secured a huge, multi-year deal with the MTA!🚊 Anyone responsible for B2B growth (which I suspect includes most of us here on LinkedIn) knows how complex, cumbersome, and time-consuming closing deals like this really is 🙄 So this news isn’t just exciting to see come to fruition, it’s also super inspiring! 💫 And, knowing this team, I’m certain it’s only the beginning of a very bright future 🚀 PS Given that they’re leading the charge in transit fare collection innovation that also means a brighter future for all of us riders, too! 🧳 How will you change the world this week? 🌎 #mondaymotivation #leadership #growth #customers #bigwins #team #transit

We’re thrilled to announce a significant milestone here at Masabi: we were recently awarded a $97 million contract extension by New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), spanning up to 12 years. Since the 2016 launch of MTA’s eTix mobile ticketing service, Masabi’s software has become critical to railroad fare collection operations. Today, 70 percent of MNR and LIRR’s revenue is enabled by mobile ticketing. We’re delighted to be supporting the MTA in enhancing the TrainTime app and completing OMNY delivery, while continuing to create experiences that MTA riders love. MTA Chair and CEO Janno Lieber stated, "The new approach is going to give users the sense of interoperability they expect while limiting MTA's contractor risk and saving millions of dollars." The MTA's trust in us to manage the future of fare payment on the railroads is a testament to our capabilities, and we are excited to see what the next decade brings!
