I was listening to the latest episode of "Diary of a CEO," where Steven Bartlett said, “As a brand, we don’t need to be liked by everyone. A brand makes you feel something; you don’t want to be vanilla,” and, “You don’t need all people; you need the people who care.” These words resonate deeply with me. As a new waxing brand entering the UK market, I am committed to working with therapists who strive to be the best and who are dedicated to raising industry standards. It doesn’t matter if they operate as a one-person business or lead a large team; what truly matters is their values and their willingness to defend the niche waxing industry. I aim to change the narrative to one that emphasises high standards and well-trained professionals—those who don’t double dip, who wear gloves for all waxing treatments, who are insured and who are proud of their work. I understand that I won’t be liked by everyone, and that’s perfectly okay. My focus is not on popularity but on creating affiliations with those who share the same mission. ZAKAWAX is a brand that welcomes therapists who take pride in being specialists or want to become one, who are committed to becoming recognised, and who are eager to grow profitable businesses.
