#futureflight BSI has launched the latest version of the Future Flight Systems vocabulary which is a significant step in establishing a common language to empower all future flight stakeholders. To learn more and view the vocabulary, please see below.

How many times have you sat in a meeting thinking you were all talking about the same thing but actually you weren’t? I often get asked how standards can be used at lower technology readiness levels. Vocabularies are a great example of adopting standards at lower level TRLs – creating a common language for an emerging sector and removing confusion. The vocabulary has been significantly updated with new terms and revisions. The recent Law Commission consultation on Aviation Autonomy referenced Flex 1903, including the definition for multiple simultaneous operations (“MSO”).
