Happy #Pride to all celebrating this weekend. 🏳️🌈 🎊 🕺 💃 ✨ This June, to celebrate #Pride2024, Scott Cawley launched our #Diversity, #Equality and #Inclusion Policy with company-wide training designed to foster a culture of respect, understanding and acceptance and provide insights, tools and strategies to ensure that everyone on our team feels valued and supported. At #TeamScottCawley we believe our differences make us stronger. 💪 🙌 🤝 By embracing diverse perspectives and promoting #equity, we aim to create an environment where innovation flourishes and everyone has the opportunity to succeed. Inclusion is not just a buzzword but a #CoreValue that drives our mission and vision forward. Our new DE&I policy also aligns with our company's #PositiveCulture value in which we maintain a climate of support, collaboration, safety and caring. 💗   This month, we were delighted to formalise some key initiatives to ensure our commitment to equality, equity, fairness and eliminating discrimination is strengthened: 🌈 The provision of DE&I Training to all staff and management.  ✅ Using the procurement process to ensure our external stakeholders operate with comparable equity goals and provide their services with the same ethos.  👫 Gender pay gap reporting – despite not falling into the category of companies required to report on this metric, Scott Cawley commits to reporting on #GenderPayGap on an annual basis to allow for transparency.  👍 Selection and recruitment practices that will promote #GenderEquality, diversity, equity and inclusion, while being adaptive to legislative changes. #HappyPride #ESG #EnvironmentalConsultancy #PrideParade #DublinPride #LGBTQ+ #lgbtqiaplus #Brod #PrideMonth

🌍✨ Today, let's recognize International Parity at Work Day, a global initiative advocating for equitable pay irrespective of race, origin, gender, or sexual orientation. As educators, leaders, and managers, we play a pivotal role in shaping a fair and inclusive professional landscape. International Parity at Work Day serves as a powerful reminder of the challenges faced by individuals around the world. On average, women globally earn 84% of what men do. This disparity is even more pronounced for immigrant women, people of color, and those with children. The discrimination faced by the LGBTQ+ community in the workplace further underscores the need for concerted efforts towards true equality. Embracing diversity and fostering inclusivity is not just a moral imperative but a strategic advantage for organizations. As educators, let's instill these values in the next generation of leaders. As leaders and managers, let's actively work towards dismantling barriers and creating workplaces where everyone is valued for their skills, regardless of background. We are working with board directors in a range of organisations to help them drive cultural change from the boardroom down. A diverse and inclusive workplace is at the core of eliminating harmful workplace behaviours as well as improving organisational performance. Diversity must start in the boardroom and go beyond gender. Elevate welcomes this report from Watermark Search International highlighting the need for greater board diversity. The report found that while representation of women on ASX300 boards has risen to 36%, only 9% of directors are from non-Anglo Celtic backgrounds.

A Decade of Data! We are thrilled to announce the release of the 2024 Board Diversity Index, a comprehensive investigation into the diversity landscape of ASX300 boards. Watermark launched the Index 10 years ago to advocate for improved diversity and inclusion on boards. Each year we have expanded the scope of our research to measure more types of diversity and we are so proud to share the longitudinal data, trends and insights with you today!  Some key findings: 🔹 Representation of women on ASX300 boards has risen to 36% (up from 35% in 2023). 🔹 Only 9% of directors are from non-Anglo-Celtic backgrounds. 🔹 Finance sector experience among board directors has risen to 40% – a level not seen since 2016 indicating a conservative approach in a challenging economic climate.
