The science doesn't lie. Burton believes that every person who interacts with our products and in our supply chain, from start to finish, deserves protection from harmful chemicals. Which is why Burton has worked with bluesign® for over 13 years to ensure we are following the latest science, exceeding legal requirements, and making the best gear without sacrificing chemical integrity across our supply chain. As Burton progresses on our clean chemistry journey, we look to science-based organizations, peer brands, and supply chain experts to address our impacts and to reimagine snowsports’ relationship with chemicals. Burton joined the steering committee of the Clean Chemistry and Materials Coalition from the Outdoor Industry Association to learn and share resources on chemicals management best practices. The mission is to break trail in innovation and adoption of safer chemicals that deliver functional, durable, and trustworthy materials and products to our customers. Great to see more & more responsible companies. We only have one beautiful Planet. But she has no voice of her own. Businesses need to honor our planet without spoiling her. Customers do care about products from responsible companies. This builds trust.

Amazing to see so many adventure sports & travel companies leading the way with these changes. If only more companies reduced profit margins to save our planet and the health of those on it.
