🌟 Grant Spotlight: $5.8 million to MiracleFeet to scale up treatment for clubfoot and monitor its program. MiracleFeet is different from most programs we fund because it involves treating a physical disability rather than implementing a preventive health program. We currently estimate that this program is close to our cost-effectiveness threshold, and we hope that we’ll learn more and update our views as a result of this work with MiracleFeet. Yes, our industry often contributes to charity in several visible ways: 1. Donations of Equipment: Donating medical equipment to local non-profits, clinics, and hospitals. 2. Community Health Programs: Engaging in community health programs to provide free or low-cost equipment and services. 3. Employee Volunteering: Encouraging employees to volunteer with local healthcare initiatives. 4. Fundraising Efforts: Organizing fundraising activities to support health-related causes. 5. Patient Assistance Programs: Offering discounts or free services to patients in need.

I often get asked why Advocacy, well this article is one of the reasons. I come across stories like this all the time and it makes my blood boil. I have to try and help the ones that don't fit a criteria of a particular charity or organisation. I have to make that difference. I am different I don't have a criteria other than get a positive outcome for my clients. However, I do respect the work of charities and organisations. One size does not fit all.
