Register here; https://lnkd.in/gspnmSWm We’re excited to invite you to our newest initiative, the Youth Brain Injury Summit, to create positive education pathways for young people with brain injuries. For years, families have been asking why they can’t attend the professional learning courses that clinicians, educators and disability supports do. They also desperately need the knowledge, information and networks, to be able to positively navigate the complex path of raising a family impacted by brain injury. At the same time, our amazing network of volunteers have said that learning from lived experience has been one of the most impactful ways to learn and develop skills. So, we’re closing that gap and bringing everyone’s “Heads Together” so we can learn from each other, build stronger connections, and unite in our shared purpose of making the world a better place for young people with brain injuries. Inclusion must be the foundation for everything which is why we need all voices at this table, only through collaboration will we create pathways that really work, for everyone involved. So be brave and be part of this change by registering for our first ever Youth Brain Injury Summit! Register now for your ticket before they sell out! https://lnkd.in/gspnmSWm

It is time to ask yourself “Why does my child make turtle pace improvements when they are getting so many different therapies?” At our center, we work with hundreds of families that were given all these therapies and accommodations but it was the wrong recipe for their child. It is imperative for you to know that your therapy team needs to be working on Hemisphere Balancing- building and creating more efficient processes in the underdeveloped side of the brain. NOT both sides. If your team is using Bilateral sensory and motor stimulations, they are making the developmental gaps worse. Hemisphere balancing is our specialty. Take the test in our Disconnected Kids book and see for yourself where your child’s brain needs work. One side will be stronger than the other and that weaker side is what should be being worked on to close the gaps in maturity. Call us today for an assessment 516 828-2428!
