We had the honor of attending this year’s Pediatric Academic Societies Meeting (PAS) in Toronto where we had the opportunity to connect with hundreds of pediatric healthcare professionals and discuss the latest science, research, and innovation in the pediatric health field. We shared our lengthy path to innovation, our groundbreaking clinical trial results, and even got into the nitty gritty of what makes our infant formula unlike any other sold in the US (our patented protein blend and organic, grass-fed whole milk might have something to do with it!). Want to meet us IRL? Sign up for our newsletter to see what conference we’ll be at next! https://lnkd.in/eeyEzBEm

The EM Symposium 2024 is less than a month away! The tempo is out of control, and now it’s time to put a year’s worth of preparation into action. We all have our vision of the best emergency medicine conference—a place where we feel like a tribe, led by EM physicians we can connect with, who understand our daily challenges. We’ll talk about evidence, but also how to deliver it. For example, multidisciplinary care to a frustrated patient who’s waited 8 hours with chronic pain, or apnoea ventilation to a cerebrally agitated patient. We’ve all envisioned such a serendipitous learning environment, and the EM Symposium has been scripted to address it. Now, the challenge is: can we deliver it? Every session, every conversation, every moment is planned to push the boundaries of emergency medicine. We feel humble and sincere in our ability to deliver this. Let's learn and laugh, be vulnerable with each other, and keep the learning bi-directional. It’s about sharing openly, growing together, and challenging the status quo. Let's respect the Chatham House rules. With less than a month to go, the anticipation is palpable as everyone is readying their finest attire for the gala dinner. Can’t wait to see you all there!

Luminesce Alliance celebrates International Clinical Trials Day and the 250th anniversary of the first clinical trial by honoring trial leaders, support teams, and participants. We thank our clinical trial teams and community participants for advancing our health system and enabling new discoveries and treatments. International Clinical Trials Day marks May 20, 1774, when James Lind linked citrus fruits to scurvy prevention. Earlier trials include a 1537 experiment by Ambroise Paré, who treated wounds with a mixture that reduced pain and inflammation. Clinical trials have evolved significantly and are now crucial in modern medicine. How does Luminesce Alliance support clinical trials? We provide financial support for the delivery of clinical trials and professional training opportunities, including webinars and workshops, to enhance workforce capacity and foster connections. #ClinicalTrialsDay #HealthcareInnovation #MedicalResearch

✨🌍 International Clinical Trials Day 2024 🌍✨ On this day, we honour the pioneering spirit of James Lind, who on May 20, 1747, conducted what is considered the first clinical trial aboard a ship suffering from scurvy. His innovative approach laid the groundwork for modern clinical research, transforming how we develop treatments and improve global health. Jason Lind's methodical experiment on 12 sailors not only identified the crucial role of citrus fruits in combating scurvy but also highlighted the importance of controlled trials in medical research. His work reminds us of the critical role clinical trials play in advancing medical knowledge and enhancing patient care. Today, as we celebrate this milestone, we acknowledge the dedication of researchers, healthcare professionals, and volunteers who make clinical trials possible. Their relentless pursuit of scientific excellence continues to drive breakthroughs in medicine, bringing hope and healing to millions. Here's five reasons to celebrate the impact and importance of clinical trials, in 2024. #InternationalClinicalTrialsDay #ClinicalTrials #JamesLind #MedicalResearch #HealthcareInnovation #GlobalHealth
