🤯 Holy shit, check this out! 🤯 As you may have seen from my post yesterday, we launched the DiMe Seal, a new evaluation framework for #digitalhealth software and a symbol of quality and trust.  Less than 24 hours later, #AI worked its magic and there is a new podcast available, via Google Notebook, on the DiMe Seal - check it out. Is it 100% accurate? No. But I have to say…it’s generally on point and a crazy way to “listen back” on your own announcement! Here are a few of my favorite highlights I wanted to share with you from the podcast: “It’s like a trust badge for digital health.” “They really thought through what matters most in digital health. It's like they are the Mythbusters of digital health!" "It's not just about vibes, they have actual concrete benchmarks…." “I’m feeling really hopeful about the future of digital health right now.” “Think of it like a safety seal – it means the software has been rigorously vetted for things like: ▪️ Evidence: Does it actually work? ▪️ Privacy: Is my data safe? ▪️ Security: Is it protected from hackers? ▪️ Usability: Is it easy for patients and clinicians to use?” Has anyone else been blown away by this new Audio Overview feature?! This is so wild. 🎧 Listen to the podcast here: https://lnkd.in/eDa_8S-d 👀 Learn more about DiMe Seal here: dimesociety.org/dime-seal

🚨 It’s time to build #healthcare around the patient, not the clinic. Hospitals offering inpatient-level care at home have experienced reduced costs, improved health outcomes, and enhanced patient experiences. #Digitaltechnologies are positioned to maximize the effectiveness and accessibility of this approach. The Connected Health Collaborative Community (CHcc), co-hosted by the Digital Medicine Society (DiMe) and Consumer Technology Association (CTA)—is launching and kicking off its inaugural project, Advancing a Sustainable Hospital-at-Home Ecosystem at Scale with UMass Chan Medical School's Program in Digital Medicine as the project’s Impact Partner. As a project partner, you’ll collaborate with a multi-stakeholder team, alongside other industry leaders, such as Consumer Technology Association, Digital Medicine Society (DiMe), UMass Chan Medical School’s Program in Digital Medicine, Abbott, AdvaMed, Amazon Web Services (AWS), b.well Connected Health, Health Advances, Mass General Hospital, Medically Home, Sparx Engineering, Verily, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Vivalink, Vitls Inc, Ypsomed AG, and more to: ▪️ Establish reimbursement and ROI clarity around digitally-enabled hospital-at-home models that drive the highest impact ▪️ Align on defining and quantifying the return of value associated with successful programs to foster intentional growth and investment into hospital-at-home programs ▪️ Showcase examples of workflow and financial optimization, patient outcomes, and clinical decision-making 🤝 By joining this project, you’ll automatically become an inaugural CHcc member. As part of this collaborative community, you’ll leverage interdisciplinary expertise and research to establish best practices and address fragmentation in #connectedhealth. We are thrilled to share that we have also formally requested FDA participation in this collaborative community. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to collaborate with them and others in the ecosystem to work towards impactful advancements in connected health. It’s not too late to join us! 📣 We have some exciting news to share! As digital health software products rapidly transform our #healthcare system, how do we know which solutions we can truly rely on? With so many options out there, it's becoming harder to separate the trustworthy, quality products from those that don’t quite measure up, or worse - those that could potentially harm. But that’s about to change. 🚀 Today we are proud to launch the DiMe Seal - a new benchmark for digital health software products. Stay tuned as we unveil our first public demos and all the details at #HLTH2024! 🔍 Want to learn more? Check out the details here: https://lnkd.in/eQCiwJ-g —and get ready, there’s much more to come!

  • Remember our groundbreaking insights into the ROI of using digital endpoints in clinical trials? Well, today at 11 a.m. ET, you can join us for our FREE monthly Journal Club where we will discuss the research and net financial benefits of digital endpoints. 🤝 The collaboration between DiMe, Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development (CSDD), Johnson & Johnson, Roche, Genentech, UCB, Bayer, Takeda, and MindMed, showcases the evidence of significant cost reductions and financial benefits tied to leveraging digital endpoints in trials. If you can’t make the Journal Club, check out the DiMe deep dive, which covers how digital endpoints enhance trial efficiency and deliver significant financial returns. Here are a few key takeaways: ▪️ Digital endpoints significantly shorten trial phases and permit smaller trial enrollment sizes ▪️ For phase 2 trials, the increase in eNPV varied from $2.1 million to $3.3 million, with ROIs between 30% to 48% per indication ▪️ The net benefits were substantially higher for phase 3 trials, with the increase in eNPV varying from $24 million to $40 million, with ROIs that were four to six times the investment This is more than just a study—it's a turning point for decision-makers who now have the evidence they need to invest in digital endpoints confidently. 📖 Dive into the full details and explore how digital endpoints are transforming clinical research: https://bit.ly/404CIP1 📆 Join today’s Journal Club here: https://bit.ly/3zsEhM8

  • Sensor-based digital health technologies (sDHTs) are revolutionizing the way we measure disease and develop life-saving therapies. With the support of the FDA, DATAcc by DiMe is building a "How-To Guide" designed to simplify the integration of digital endpoints into clinical trials. Why is this important? ▪️ Digital endpoints provide clinical teams with unprecedented insights into patients’ lived experiences, making trials more patient-centric and data-driven. ▪️ Our collaboration with leading industry partners (Johnson & Johnson, Roche, Genentech, Bayer, and more) shows substantial ROI and cost reductions when digital endpoints are used in trials. ▪️ sDHTs can shorten trial timelines, improve feasibility in challenging markets, and boost inclusion through decentralized trials—key to improving health equity. 📖 This guide will address ongoing concerns in the industry by consolidating regulatory and scientific resources into one open-source, interactive platform, giving life sciences teams the tools they need to adopt sDHTs efficiently. With digital endpoints proven to speed development and improve ROI, this guide will help break down barriers and lead the way to a more innovative, patient-centric future for clinical research. 🤝 Join our next digital health measures project to improve the lives of pediatric patients. DATAcc by DiMe’s pediatric rare disease project will define high-quality digital measures to accelerate research and deliver life-saving therapies to children with rare diseases around the world: https://bit.ly/3NagKmk
