We all analyze our plans when we fail - What went wrong? Had I not worked hard enough? Where did I lacked? What to Improve further ? And the questions are endless............But But...........We never analyze our plans once we get pass........Why so?...........Isn't it important to remember how you achieved your goal What actually went right ? How much hard we worked? How we Overcome our weaknesses? And most importantly - Who were the people who actually supported you during the journey ? I feel these questions are equally important, Since the feeling of self appreciation and happiness are the best motivators in themselves. So to all my freshly qualified Chartered Accountant friends-- Irrespective of How much package you get in todays campus placement.....Be Proud of yourself and feel satisfied.......Since the race continues until we die #Lookback #Analysis #Beproud

Reflecting on My Journey from Uncertainty to Success I am grateful to God for the opportunity to practice my profession. I have a BSc in Economics. I remember during my undergraduate days when asked about my plans after school, I often hesitated to answer because I lacked clarity at the time. However, in retrospect, God led me through my job-hunting season. Despite actively searching for a job, I was busy building my personal brand, networking, learning, and pursuing my ICAN exam. Fortunately, two years post-NYSC, I secured my first job, with my ICAN certificate playing a crucial role. Becoming a chartered accountant has been the highlight of my career. This journey taught me that help can come unexpectedly, and though we may not be where we want to be, staying dedicated and open to learning is key. Stay tuned for my upcoming series, 'Early Career Essentials (ECE)', where I'll share tips to empower early career professionals seeking growth and visibility." #careergrowth, #careervisibility #gratitude

CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT (May 2024) | AUDIT & ASSURANCE | DIRECT TAXATION | FINANCE | M.COM | B.COM(HONS) | DELHI UNIVERSITY
🌟𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗜 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀✈️ Reflecting on my recent ICAI campus placement journey, I’m thrilled to share my experience. As a newly certified Chartered Accountant, this was my first significant event, and I felt honored to be part of the esteemed ICAI community.🙌 The campus placement orientation was an enlightening start. Connecting with fellow Chartered Accountants and sharing meals was a refreshing transition from solitary study to a collaborative environment. 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 was particularly memorable as I had the honor of hearing from eminent speakers like CA Charanjot Singh Nanda and CA GAURAV AGGRAWAL. Their exceptional communication skills and bold leadership truly inspired me, emphasizing the importance of effective communication and presentation skills. Additionally, we were introduced to emerging opportunities in fields such as AI, startups, and global accounting, broadening our horizons for the future. 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝘄𝗼 focused on mentorship, with engaging mock interviews and guidance sessions. I selected two key sessions: one aligned with my campus placement shortlisting and another that matched my career interests. These sessions highlighted the value of mentorship but also underscored that the ultimate career decisions rest with us. It’s crucial to introspect and determine how I envision my future career and which path aligns with my goals. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗵𝗶 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀. The excitement of companies announcing their walk-ins and the humor of handling piles of CVs was unforgettable 😂 . I had the opportunity to interview with two companies and received an offer from one. However, due to relocation concerns, I have not given the consent. I highly recommend future aspiring Chartered Accountants to attend campus placement programs. While they are not the sole pathway to success, they offer invaluable experiences, networking opportunities, and insights into emerging fields. This journey has been invaluable, and I’m grateful for the opportunities it has provided. 🎓 To all the newly qualified Chartered Accountants preparing for campus placements next week: Remember, finding the right job is more important than finding the quickest one. It's natural to feel a bit anxious when we see our peers securing positions but keep in mind—this isn’t a race to see who can get there first. Your first job will likely set the tone for your career, and it should be one that aligns with your values and aspirations. I've seen professionals turn down multiple offers in pursuit of the ideal fit. Their patience and diligence paid off, leading them to roles where they’ve found both success and satisfaction. So, to all the fresh Chartered Accountants, I wish you the best of luck. May you find your dream job and be successful professionals. From 2025 You Will Be Able to Become a Chartered Accountant Without a Degree With the shortage of Accountants expected to be at 58,000 by 2033, the Institute of Chartered Accountants has announced an apprenticeship like training scheme that will allow people wanting to become Accountants to learn by working on the job, instead of taking the current route of a university degree. It could be argued that lowering entry requirements could dilute the profession’s standards and diminish the University qualifications already earned by past graduates, but I think this is a smart move for the CA and its members, with firms finding it increasingly hard to attract Graduates to the industry. In an article for the AFR, Euan Black spoke with Rob Dunderdale (Head of Talent Attraction at KPMG Australia) who said employees recruited through this type of program tended to “stay longer and generally progress faster through our organisation. They spend time with our business, they get to build connections quickly, and they understand how we work.” A traineeship system like this emphasizes the value of practical experience over academic qualifications that can be expensive and time-consuming. People can gain exposure to the profession before making such a big commitment and it can counteract the appeal of much larger Graduate salaries that can be earned in other industries. Is the new Traineeship Program a good idea or should the CA stick with the current University requirements to undertake its qualification? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. #ALRARecruitment #CharteredAccountants

I failed the week of August 12, and that's alright. I have a habits system: 1. 6 self-set daily tasks/behaviors. 2. Each task earns me 1 point per day. 3. 42 potential points per week. (6 habits * 7 days). Last week, I only got to 29 out of 42. 69.1%. My target is 85%. But failure always paves the way for success: 1. I was transitioning from internship to full-time CPA studying 2. 8 - 10 hours per day, including weekends, with FAR on 8/29 3. MASSIVE change to my daily schedule... Last week was just a transition period. Failing there meant: 1. Learning to juggle the new schedule & adapting. 2. Setting sail for success every week until my final CPA exam in November. So what's the point? ❗ FAILURE is a great thing when you can respond to it the right way. It's IMPOSSIBLE TO TRULY FAIL if you make your goals inevitable through daily action.

I’ve passed the CPA Exams! 🏆 And now, once I’ve shared it, I must say… The road wasn’t easy, filled with highs and lows, challenges, and moments of self-doubt. 🛣️ But throughout it all, I knew I wanted to succeed, and that the goal was worth all the effort. Today I stand proud of my accomplishments. I've learned so much along the way, like perseverance, determination, and self-belief. I also learned that failures are also part of the process, and that they can teach us a lot. ✍🏼 Achieving this milestone marks a significant step for me on my path to professional fulfillment. While there’s still an internship to complete, I can already feel the immense satisfaction and sense of progress. ✨ This success is the result of hard work and dedication. I invested time, effort, and learning, and today I can celebrate this achievement. So to everyone who dreams of achieving their dreams: DON’T GIVE UP! Believe in yourselves and be prepared to work hard. The journey won't always be easy, there will be many challenges, there will be moments of doubt, but in the end every struggle is worth the reward❣️ #CPA #perseverance #inspiration #nevergiveup #journey #professionalfulfillment
