Subject: Proposal for Streamlined BS Accounting and Finance Gateway route agreement with HEC recognised university for ICMA Managerial Level 2 passed students Dear ICMAP National Council, I trust this message finds you well. I am reaching out to address an issue impacting a considerable number of CMA qualified students, finalists, and professionals. These individuals have showcased exemplary knowledge and skills through the rigorous CMA qualification process. However, many encounter hurdles in their professional advancement due to the absence of a formal bachelor's degree. This absence of formal acknowledgment can constrain their opportunities and hinder their potential contributions to the field. While I commend ICMAP's existing collaborations with educational institutions, such as members can get MBA top up program from Lincoln University College of Malaysia and ICMA's collaboration with The University of Law (ULaw) of UK for it's members interested in law qualifications but what about those students and finalists passed till Managerial Level 2 (ML-2)? This can pose significant challenges for numerous students, finalists professionals. Therefore, I propose that ICMAP explore avenues to streamline these programs for CMA Inter and finalist individuals. This could entail recognizing more of the knowledge and skills they have already exhibited through the CMA qualification, thus enabling them to earn a bachelor's degree directly after CMA Inter, final or right after Managerial Level 2 through a gateway exam of any HEC recognised university, these can also be distance learning universities like Virtual University or Allama Iqbal Open University AIOU. I am confident that such adaptations would substantially benefit CMA qualifieds, finalists and Managerial Level qualified professionals alleviating their time commitments while elevating the prestige and recognition of the CMA qualification. Effective studying is not a one-size-fits-all scenario. Each of us has a unique combination of methods, timings, and environments that work best for us. The key to discovering your perfect study routine lies in treating it like an experiment. Think of your study routine as a science experiment. You are the scientist, and your objective is to figure out what works best for you. You’ll need to hypothesize and test different variables such as where you study, when you study, and how long you study. Start by coming up with a hypothesis: “I think studying in the morning will help me retain more information,” or “I believe studying in a quiet environment will improve my concentration.” The idea is to identify one aspect of your study routine that you think might make a difference. Just like in a science experiment, you don’t want to change too many variables at once. Focus on one variable at a time and see how it goes. You could try studying at different times of the day, varying the duration of your study sessions, or changing up your study location. After each study session, take time to reflect on how effective it was. Did you retain more information? Were you more focused? Write down your observations to help you determine what works and what doesn’t. Continue experimenting by adjusting one variable at a time. 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀: Coaching centers often highlight their success stories, but they should also disclose their failures. If they criticize ICAI for not being transparent, they should reveal how many students passed and failed. 𝟮. 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺: While they complain about ICAI not responding to student concerns, their own doubt support systems are lacking. Their phone lines are only active on results day, and questions asked today might not get a reply until much later. 𝟯. 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀: They criticize ICAI for not addressing student problems, but their own classes come with only 1-3 views. With inadequate doubt support, at least they should offer unlimited class views so students can review material as needed. 𝟰. 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀: They claim ICAI doesn't provide proper faculty, but their post-class services are often subpar. Grand promises are made in demos, but once you purchase the classes, the service quality drops significantly. 𝟱. 𝗜𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗺: These coaching centers frequently criticize ICAI for low pass rates and exam patterns, damaging ICAI’s image. However, when students criticize the coaching centers with proof, they delete comments or issue legal notices. They can't handle their own criticism. 𝟲. 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲: If a student excels, the coaching center takes credit. If the student fails, they blame ICAI. This hypocrisy is unacceptable. They should be accountable for both successes and failures. 📍𝗡𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗔 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀. The more the number of CMA US coaching institutions are increasing, the more puzzled the students are getting as to which institution will seamlessly help him/her reach his/her desired goal.
