It was a pleasure to present at the AABC on the regional diversification of cathode chemistries and its impact on the underlying raw material supply chains. It has been a great week full of thought-provoking content and discussion - thank you to all involved. Some key takeaways from the week: 🔋 As applications mature and develop, the cathode landscape continues to diversify. This has a dramatic effect on regional raw material supply chains. ⚡ High voltage (mid nickel) NCM is a cathode to watch out for, pushing the boundary for what we expect from 6 and 7 series. 🔲 Solid-state is very much on the way, but significant challenges remain for manufacturing, cycling stability and it's cost-competitiveness, which will ultimately define its onset and market penetration. Semi solid-state is set to bridge the gap in the short- to mid-term.
