⚡️🇺🇸 The US Navy has chosen BAE Systems, Inc. to develop the Dual Band Decoy, a radio frequency jammer based on the combat-proven AN/ALE-55 Fiber-Optic Towed Decoy to be used by fighter jets to counter enemy attacks. The decoy will consist of a towed unit connected to electronic warfare equipment onboard the US Navy’s Super Hornets by fiber-optic cables. ✈️🚨 The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded BAE Systems, Inc. $133 million in contracts to provide radar warning receivers for the US Air Force’s C-130J Super Hercules military transport aircraft. Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) recently participated in a U.S. Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense System of Systems (ASoS) flight test with LTAMDS and Patriot launchers to demonstrate the system’s ability to enhance the warfighter’s view of the battlespace at lower altitudes. #IBCS successfully identified the target, maintained an accurate composite track from LTAMDS data, and initiated a successful engagement against the Air Breathing Threat (ABT) using PAC-3 interceptors. ABTs are generally harder to track due to their lower altitudes and maneuver ability but IBCS once again demonstrated its superiority in creating a single, integrated and actionable air picture across the battlespace. According to the US Department of Defense's new plans presented on July 3, 2024, the US Air Force (USAF) will station 36 F-15EX fighters at Kadena Air Base, replacing the existing fleet of 48 older F-15C/D aircraft. Rotations of fourth and fifth-generation fighter jets will continue during the phased deployment of the F-15EX fleet. Misawa Air Base in northern Honshu will also see a major transformation: 36 F-16 fighters will be replaced by 48 F-35A aircraft, enhancing both the base's capacity and capability. Additionally, the US Marine Corps will "modify the number of F-35B aircraft" at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, located in southern Honshu. "The modernization plan, which will be carried out over the next several years, represents over $10 billion in capability investments to enhance the U.S.-Japan Alliance, bolster regional deterrence, and strengthen peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region," the Pentagon stated.

It should be noted that since General Charles Brown became Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff the Russian Air Force and Navy has suffered some of its greatest losses of the war. It might be coincidental, but it is likely causal. General Brown spent his career in the US Air Force. He knows the Russian Air Forces better than anyone. And he knows the NATO capabilities to destroy the Russian Air Forces and Navy better than anyone. Prior to General Brown becoming Chairman, the M-39 cluster missiles had not been approved for Ukraine. On October 17,2023 two Russian airfields in the temporarily occupied territories were hit by 18 M-30 cluster rockets with a range of 165km destroying 24 Russian Alligator attack helicopters that had been killing many Ukrainian front line troops. Not only were the aircraft destroyed but hundreds of helicopter crews and the entire command. Russian milbloggers called this “the worst day for Russian air forces since Workd War II”. This caused Russia to have to relocate all their attack helicopters out of Crimea and to Russia. This removed a lot of Russian Air power from Crimea. Then Russia started losing their top of the line SU-34 fighter bombers, at least five. Four in one day! Now Russia has lost an A-50 and IL-22. Ukraine is starting to deny Russia air support. The Russian attack helicopters, fighter bombers, command and control, are all having to operate from farther and farther away from the front line. Weakening the ability to support their ground forces. And weakening their ability to attack civilian targets. Since General Brown became Chairman we have also seen air power take out Russian Naval Forces. These are not likely coincidences. General Brown can help provide the resources to support Ukraine to allow all of these victories to happen. He will likely have influence to see the allies give more. This is likely a trend that will accelerate. Russia Air Forces and Naval Forces will be facing a Ukraine that is armed like a porcupine. As General Zaluzhnyi pointed out in his Economist interview, NATO doctrine requires air superiority to conduct a major counter offensive. This is what we are witnessing. Shaping operations to eventually have Ukrainian air superiority over Ukraine. F-16s will soon be flying over Ukraine. In late numbers with superior pilots and capabilities than Russia has. Russia is losing more and more strategic air assets and naval assets. Expect this pace and velocity to increase. These are not tactical victories. These are strategic. The Russian Black Sea Fleet can no longer supply the Russian army in Crimea. Russian Air Forces are being removed from Crimea. The Kerch Bridge will likely be hit for the third time soon- hopefully fatally to destroy both rail and road supply support of the Russian army in Crimea. Since General Brown became Chairman three months ago, Ukraine has had major victories to help isolate and destroy the Russian army in Crimea.
