The owner of a multi-billion-dollar enterprise has been consistently acquiring mineral resources but is not rushing to sell them. While his employees are anxious about the delay, he remains unwavering. Both domestic and international investors have poured tens of billions of dollars into his mineral resources, including high-calcium industrial mines. He is developing industrial parks for deep processing of these resources, which boast hundreds of millions of tons in reserves. Each ton of marble, sand, and gravel aggregates has previously sold for over 2,000 CNY. Remarkably, these aggregates constitute less than 5% of his total mined resources and less than 1% of his global mineral portfolio. Currently, high freight costs and sluggish sales are challenges. However, the owner plans to reduce production and wait, as a new railroad line next year will connect directly to the dock, potentially reducing transportation costs. With technological advancements and the continuous development of transportation infrastructure, freight costs are expected to decline. Here is a belated picture of our celebration of planting the 25,000th tree in our Luanga Project…well, the number of trees planted has now surpassed 30,700, which means we have planted about 100 trees for each drill hole drilled by Bravo since inception!...and this is 10 times more than our initial commitment to plant 10 trees per drill hole! We love to walk the talk ! So far, we have restored over 50 hectares of forests, with another 30,000 trees awaiting planting, which will add an additional 70 hectares of coverage. We take immense pride in seeing many of the trees already growing big and bearing fruit! Besides recovering degraded areas, they are also feeding and providing some income to local families. For Bravo Mining Corp., the Pará Nut Tree (Castanheira-do-Pará) in this picture symbolizes the strength of responsible mining in the Carajás region. When conducted properly, mining brings essential economic benefits and sustainability to the area. Yugunga-Nya Traditional Owners in Western Australia’s Mid-West region claim Sandfire Resources gagged them and destroyed Aboriginal heritage sites in the pursuit of a mine expansion. Last Wednesday the Traditional Owners alleged a six-month independent report from external law firm Gilbert & Tobin lacked “context, balance, and supporting information to substantiate its key findings and recommendations … a perspective crucial for fully understanding the impact of Sandfire’s actions”. The external investigation came after Sandfire notified the ASX in late December 2023 it had hired the firm to investigate “process failures” that led to the disturbance of Aboriginal heritage at its DeGrussa mine site, approximately 150km north of Meekatharra, and a decision not to inform Yugunga-Nya Traditional Owners about it. Far East Gold Ltd (ASX:FEG, OTC:FEGDF) CEO Shane Menere joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss plans for a maiden JORC 2012-compliant resource estimate for the Idenburg #gold concession in Indonesia. As part of this work, the company has engaged SMG Consulting to conduct a full audit of the site, including drill core and previous assays. This process aims to identify the drilling and assay work necessary to expedite the completion of a JORC resource. The company has significant historical data from previous exploration efforts, including an Exploration Target of more than 7.2 million ounces. The project covers a 95,280 hectare Contract of Work in the Papua province, an area known for significant gold and #copper deposits. The Idenburg project has been bolstered by recent forestry restrictions being downgraded to Production Forest, aiding in its development. Project Blue expects the #antimony market balance to remain tight in 2024. POLYUS has produced an average of 10ktpy Sb since being commissioned in 2018, however, ranging from 2.3kt to over 20kt Sb per year. #Gold prices are at record highs, which could see by-product antimony supply from Olimpiada take a back seat again in the near term, as the world’s fourth largest gold mine will likely target its primary commodity. The only significant and sustainable relief is a new Chinese-owned joint venture gold-antimony project in Tajikistan. Project Blue's Proxima portal is tracking over 20 gold mines and projects with by-product antimony potential; however, most defined reserves have a limited life of mine for antimony.

Based on the KR1 and KR2 deposits, #BCA has outlined a A$84 million development that should generate annual cash flow of $46 million, giving a payback under two years of the 16-year life. The metrics deliver a pre-tax net present value of $340 million and a 70% internal rate of return, with life of mine revenue at $2.8 billion and earnings of $654 million.
