Is February really coming to a close? Let's see how our focus is either jellying with the year's resolution or we are changing most of it. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Infact there is a word for this process it's called ADAPTING. First bring the pace to your level where you do your best work at. Then check your network if it will enable you to do what you need. If NO then go down the streets of LinkedIn and connect with professionals who are in the right positions and companies you need to deal with. ( a little secret, this method removes those unflinching gate keepers who won't even book your appointment with the big boys). Work smart until you surpass everything that was giving you sleepless nights.

Monday, February 19, 2024 What you can when you can You don’t have enough time to get it all done. But you always have enough time to do what you can. The clock is ticking. But then, it always is. You can fret and complain about your limited amount of time. But that will drain even more time away. Instead, go ahead and do just a little bit of what needs doing. And although it might only be a fraction, it’s a whole lot better than nothing. Then eventually you’ll have a little more time. With that time you can do a little more, and even more with the time that will surely come later. And you’ll discover that by doing what you can when you can, something amazing will happen. You’ll get it all done. — Ralph Marston

It is almost February. We missed it last year so Craig and I are going to do Intentional February again. What does that mean? 1. We are going to not spend any money (if we can) unless it fits our preapproved guidelines. 2. We are going to "eat down the fridge" and use up what we have already spent money on. 3. We are going to make a list of things we want to do and assign each item a day to focus on getting it done. "What gets scheduled gets done" So we are going to take this short, cold month and be in charge instead of letting life run us. Let's see how well we do. Step 1: We are making our list.

Another fantastic campaign from Global Action Plan in collaboration with young people demanding an end to the completely unjustifiable corporate practice of surveilling kids in order to keep them online for longer and push them products. Surveillance capitalism, aka the attention economy, is a leading contributor to the host of difficulties young people are facing right now. We can’t have another decade of endless discussions about these problems as in parallel they continue to worsen before our eyes. Safety by design is needed now. The film is also a great springboard for conversations with tweens and teens to help raise their awareness and build their resilience – although to be clear the responsibility does not rest with children or parents.
