#ASXNews Velox drilling identifies high-grade vanadium zone within the Cambridge Deposit in Queensland, Australia Velox Energy Materials is pleased to announce the #drilling results from its Phase 1 diamond drill program at the Company’s flagship Cambridge Vanadium deposit, within its 100% owned North Queensland #Vanadium Project (“NQVP”) located in Queensland, Australia. • Assay results received are very encouraging, with the mineralized zone identified at shallow depths, uniform thicknesses throughout the drilled area and consistent grades across the drilled area. Results include: • Hole NQVP23_008 – 4.7 m @ 0.44% V2O5 from 8.6 m (0.30%V2O5 cut-off) including 1.1 m @ 0.84% V2O5 from 10.5 m; • Hole NQVP23_005 – 5.4 m @ 0.41% V2O5 from 19.5 m (0.30%V2O5 cut-off) including 0.8 m @ 0.77% V2O5 from 12.9 m; and • Hole NQVP23_004 – 4.7 m @ 0.47% V2O5 from 9.5 m (0.30%V2O5 cut-off) including1.1 m @ 0.72% V2O5 from 20.5 m. • The mineralized zone at a cut-off grade of 0.30 % V2O5 is typically 4.2 m thick at 0.41 % V2O5. • Drilling indicates a laterally continuous high-grading layer within the mineralized zone, with V2O5 grades commonly exceeding 0.60 % V2O5 over a 1.5 m thick interval. • Assay results have also identified a 0.5 m -1.0 m layer demonstrating a mild rare earth element enrichment thought to be associated with the vanadium mineralized zone, with TREO grades commonly between 400 – 500 ppm. Epiroc has unveiled upgrades to its DM30 XC rotary blasthole drill rig that focus on improving safety and efficiency, all while reducing carbon footprint. Described as the “next-gen (of) drilling power”, the Epiroc DM30 XC was originally released in March 2022 and has a single-pass depth of 8.5m and maximum hole depth of 45.1m. It also boasts a 9.1 m drill pipe change and can handle drill pipe sizes ranging from 102 mm to 159 mm and a weight on bit of 20,000kg. Now, the drill rig has been enhanced to include advanced lubrication systems, reinforced components, and improved safety features like the upgraded jack screw or the tower-locking reinforcement. The new features intend to extend the work life of the rig while minimising maintenance requirements, leading to increased operational efficiencies and reducing downtime and peace of mind for operators. Aircore drilling at our Aileron project in the West Arunta is rapidly progressing and the first assay results from the program are our strongest from the region to date.   More than 10,000m of drilling was completed in the first month on site and the near surface mineralisation footprint of the Crean, Hurley and Emily carbonatites have all been expanded. At Crean, we've intersected continuous high-grade, near-surface niobium-REE mineralisation across four initial drill lines including: ✅ 52m @ 3.0% Nb2O5 from 81m, including 16m @ 6.0% Nb2O5 (EAL256) ✅ 32m @ 2.5% Nb2O5 from 67m, including 12m @ 3.3% Nb2O5 (EAL155) ✅ 15m @ 1.5% Nb2O5 from 120m, including 2m @ 3.3% Nb2O5 (EAL257)   This shallow mineralised trend at Crean now spans over 800m, appears to be strengthening to the west, and remains open.   📊 The next batch of samples from Crean, Emily, and Hurley are at the lab, with results expected in July 2024.   Our Managing Director, Will Robinson provided some insight into the upcoming work program: “The aircore rig has now moved to the untested Green and Joyce targets located east of WA1 Resources’ Luni carbonatite discovery.
