In the AC-coupled solar system, the solar panel generates direct current, which is converted into AC power supply for the load through the photovoltaic inverter, and the energy storage system has an independent PCS to charge and discharge the battery, which can operate independently of the photovoltaic inverter, and can also accept the agreed scheduling, in the AC coupling scheme, the photovoltaic power is charged to the battery, and then discharged by the battery needs to go through three current conversions. It can be easily installed in existing photovoltaic projects, and can also be quickly implemented in new photovoltaic + energy storage projects. In the DC-coupled solar cell system, the direct current generated by the solar panels is transmitted to the DC bus through the DC/DC converter running in MPPT mode, which can either directly charge the battery, or can be converted into alternating current by the energy storage PCS to supply power to the load.
