Yandal Resources Ltd (ASX:YRL) Resources managing director Chris Oorschot joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss a significant gold discovery at the New England Granite Prospect of its Ironstone Well-Barwidgee (IWB) Gold Project in Western Australia. Yandal has named the discovery 'Siona' after a reverse circulation drilling program revealed an intersection of 78 metres at 1.2 g/t #gold starting from 96 metres depth, including higher-grade sections of 5 metres at 3.2 g/t and 5 metres at 2.8 g/t. A second drill hole, 170 metres northwest, also returned 14 metres at 1.8 g/t, including 3 metres at 4.9 g/t. The discovery led to a sharp rise in Yandal's share price on Monday, with shares increasing by 120% to $0.22 intra-day, a two-year high. Oorschot described the results as "exceptional" and highlighted plans for further drilling to determine the geometry and scale of the mineralisation. "The identification of a coherent gold-in-soil anomaly at the Mombaque prospect is an exciting development for the Cajueiro project. Surface rock samples show evidence of strong sericite alteration and hydrothermal quartz veining which are consistent with a concealed porphyry centre and define a new priority drill target. As yet, we do not know if this is a significant extension to the porphyry system at Maria Bonita or a separate porphyry system. Ongoing field work has also identified priority targets to the north of the Cajueiro mineral resource in association with magnetic anomalies along a wide east-west corridor. It is becoming clear that porphyry-style gold mineralization at Cajueiro extends beyond the Maria Bonita mineralized system where we recently drilled 146m @ 1 g/t gold in porphyritic host rocks and that this could be one of several porphyry gold deposits at Cajueiro.” -- Michael John Bennett, President & CEO https://lnkd.in/diumMZeA

Great Boulder Resources Ltd (ASX:GBR) managing director Andrew Paterson joins Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson to discuss the promising developments at the Pollele Gold Project. The surface geochemistry review has uncovered several large, high-tenor pathfinder anomalies, suggesting potential #gold mineralisation. This finding at Pollele, located near Meekatharra in Western Australia, shows similarities to the company's Mulga Bill and Side Well projects. Great Boulder, in a joint venture with Castle Minerals, is optimistic about these initial results, with the potential to exercise a 75% acquisition option if the findings align with their strategic objectives.
