Is smaller simpler? Not when it comes to saltwater. I get asked - Why we don't (typically) install smaller #saltwater aquariums? Many think a small tank perfectly fits its space, but an essential aspect often overlooked is the requirement for an extensive and complicated "life support" system. This system is crucial for maintaining a thriving long-term saltwater environment. In the aquarium in our video, which appears compact. However, hidden behind it, in a closet, is a whole host of vital equipment. This "life support" system is not optional; it's a necessity for every successful saltwater setup. The bottom line? Size does matter when it comes to aquariums. A proper filtration system, which is the heart of any aquarium, demands its own space. And more often than not, if space is a constraint for a larger tank, it will be equally challenging to accommodate the necessary supporting equipment. photo of an aquarium filter room in the comments. #AquariumDesign #MarineLife #largeaquarium #Innovation #sizematters #Management #Aquacreations #fish

Never Buy These 3 Fish Part 2 Snakeheads, piranhas, and channel catfish - these are the three fish you might want to reconsider for your aquarium. Snakeheads, despite their beauty, are known for their aggressive nature and invasive tendencies. They're not the ideal tropical fish for a peaceful aquarium environment. Piranhas, although popular in the Midwest, are illegal in some places. Their reputation precedes them, and it's not for being friendly. Lastly, the channel catfish. A personal anecdote - as a kid, I bought one from Pier 1 Imports, only to watch it grow and consume everything in my aquarium. Remember, a harmonious aquarium is a happy aquarium. Choose your fish wisely! Share this video if you found these aquarium tips helpful! #AquariumFish #InvasiveSpecies #FishKeepingTips
