Cape Fox Shared Services ( A Cape Fox Company )’s Post

A year after the 9/11 attacks, we all faced a changed nation. Many of us felt fear and anxiety; others felt compelled to do more. National Day of Service was launched in 2002 to come together with a common purpose: to commemorate the tragedy of 9/11 through volunteer service. In 2009, Congress designated September 11th as a National Day of Service and Remembrance. This day is marked as a day of service to give back to others in a meaningful way, remembrance in tribute to those lost or injured, and to pay homage to others who rose to service. Each year on 9/11, nearly 30 million Americans take time to volunteer, support charities, and perform simple good deeds. @CapeFoxCorp believes strongly that by strengthening our communities and our families, we are making ourselves stronger. This year, we encourage all to show the spirit of caring to honor the memory of the first responders, members of our military, and ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage and put their lives on the line to save others. Let’s stand up to give back.
